Although my body was on this meeting, my mind wasn't. My mind was at home with my mate. I couldn't focus on what my father was saying because I was thinking about my beautiful mate and what she could be doing right now. I miss her so much and I can't wait for this f*****g meeting to be done with so I can leave this place as soon as possible. I want to see her.....no scratch that, I need to see her.
The sound of people clapping startled me but I quickly recovered so they won't notice I actually wasn't hearing anything that was going on.
I looked up to see what was the main reason why they were all clapping but then I was surprised their eyes were fixed on me already and they had wide smiles on their faces as they continued clapping.
