I was surprised my my mother's attitude. I mean I have never seen her act in such manner. She was always smiling and happy to see guests. But why was she harsh on Juliet. Or did Juliet do anything to her? I need to ask her.
I quickly stood up and picked my bag before leaving my room. I rushed to the sitting room. Juliet was there pressing her phone.
“Juliet.” I said.
She raised her head and smiled when she saw me. I watched as she stood up and walked to me before kissing my lips. Truth be told I felt a bit disgusted when her lips touched mine but I shaked it off because I knew it was because of the mate bond that's why I was feeling that way.
