Chapter 18The Yellow Trail was long, but it was refreshing. It was five miles of level and sandy trails through the Mary Thaxton Memorial that explored the remote parts of the park. About halfway through the trail they stopped for about fifteen minutes and sat on one of the benches and had lunch. Then they restarted the trail. Once they were back at the beginning, they headed for the Green Trail. This trail crossed South Creek over the bridge that went through the campground into the Florida Scrub-Jay Habitat.
