Chapter 12Wes opened his eyes, saw the sun starting to rise, and looked at the clock by the bed. It said 7:00 a.m. He didn’t even remember either of them falling asleep. He got up and went into the bathroom to get dressed and ready for breakfast. When he came out, he saw her still asleep all balled up. He just looked at her in amazement. She was just incredible. He admired her drive, her compassion, love for life and the fact that she was always interested in his day, his company and whatever he had to say. He wished they would have done this right after high school instead of him marrying his ex.
