Chapter 20She had been in Charlotte over five months. It had been eight weeks since their four-day weekend together. She had two more weeks here, and she was hoping she would be able to finish up and head back to Vero Beach for her vacation early. Tina, the new manager of the Charlotte boutique, was catching on pretty fast. That made it possible for her to be able to leave Charlotte earlier than expected.
Nine weeks and three days now since she her mini vacation home to see him race. It was seven weeks of her back and forth between going to Orlando and Vero Beach and of him traveling to Charlotte or to Orlando to see her depending on the timing where she was. These last two weeks they had been too busy to fly out and had decided that she would be there soon enough anyway.
