My walk was in silence, the only sound heard was the sound of the rain and cars driving by. Everyone was minding their own business around here, they paid me no mind as they watched me walk down the side of the road. I felt my wet hair stick to my face while my wet clothes stuck to my body like a leech, the feeling no longer bothering me. "She got away." I overheard a voice say.
