Chapter 27 – Monsters
Maybell and Orson tore off down the road in the opposite direction of the sirens. With silent tension between them they traveled deep into the woods, then they came to the opposite side of the outer community. With deft shifts and acceleration the pair were soon on their way at a dangerous speed towards the west of downtown LA.
The GPS had pinged at a location called the West Spike. After some simple google searching Maybell was surprised to find that the West Spike was a small fairly well known Advertisement business that sold male sports memorabilia and had a pod cast that regularly announced from it. According to the light information she could glean from the Website the West Spike had been created and was kept running by its General manager Gary Morrs.
