When I found the strength to wake up, the sun was about to set. I missed the rest of the workday today€no doubt I'd need to do some extra work tomorrow to make up for it but I didn't care. I turned on the lights and dragged myself to the bathroom, gently washing my face to get rid of the tearstains and the crust that formed around my eyes. My face still looked puffy from all the crying, and my eye bags had swollen. I drank a whole glass of water before walking over to the bed€all the crying had dehydrated me. As swiftly as I could, I changed the pillowcase because I knew I cried over it and some snot had probably fallen into it during my sleep.
