I finished off the meeting a little sooner than expected, everyone being pleased to see the actual Alpha of the Sirius pack getting back into the business. I have to admit, I was a little nervous, similar to when I first took over as Alpha from my father. While I am glad I was able to count on Deacon to stand in for me, and he has been great, the thruth is that Alphas prefer to deal with other Alphas, otherwise, you risk looking distrustful and like you can’t keep your house in order.
Although short, the meeting proved important and a true eye opener. It's good that I’m back and handling the pack business once more.
