Kai got down from his car in front of Isla’s apartment building. He thought of dealing with the bet that Isla won with him. He sighed and thought that even if they haven’t spoken to each other for two days, he’s still a man of his words. He will make sure to pay his best friend’s rent for the next three months along with additional bills to pay to the landlady.
