  LUKE   I watch Kat bound back to the farmhouse with the sander in her good hand, and I can't help but smile. For the first time since I met her, she has a genuine smile on her lips. And as much as I want to make her rest her hand, I don't want to burst her happiness. I will need to find a way to help her so she doesn't injure her hand more.
