SACRED LOVE : 45 1/2 The cold wind had brushed away the soft locks of her hair from her pale face as she sat while nervousness started to suffocate her as slowly as possible. Watching the birds chirp, her nose was nuzzled before a "achoo!" A not so loud sneeze made her clutch her dress on her knees. Opening her tight closed eyes, her nose was bright pink making her sniff softly before looking up. As her eyes met Mr. Xin's, her eyes immediately dropped down. Her fingers gripped the fork tight as she tried to draw down the food that was placed on her plate. gulping down the lump in her throat, her eyes met his. A dry cough, his cheeks turned pink as her lips were soon pressed tight just to prevent the laugh that was about to escape. Watching him struggle to breathe made her look away as he blinked away from her sight. "He looks so funny, right?" Her shoulders quivered as Timmy whispered into her eyes before hiding his mouth so no one could see him smiling. Looking back at the sight of Zal, her eyes blinked. The hand was placed against the nose, his polite apologies to the people who gathered to lunch got no attention from her but then, his lips that were bright red. With a pink tinted nose, he looked so fragile for a second. Hands clutching her dress while her nails dug into the skin under the cloth she clutched. The way he smiled at his mom, her eyes blinked. The scar on his neck, her eyes blinked. Heart started to pace fast. She doesn't know the reason for the increase in the pace of her heartbeat but her mind was already occupied by his visuals. His fingers grabbed the napkin before he wiped away his lips. Eyes meeting hers was what made her eyes go wide. A small smile was sent towards her as she blinked. "Oh, cia. The soup is good, try it!" Timmy's exclamation while he extended his bowl to serve as she flinched. Looking down at the small bowl he poured the soup in, she looked up. His eyes were already somewhere that were not her eyes as her chest dropped down along with a soft exhale that escaped her mouth which was not noticed. "Cia" Snapping out of thoughts she doesn't even know what were, she blinked, looking back at Timmy. "You didn't eat anything" she looked down at her hand that held her plate as if she had completed. Blinking as she noticed herself half way from standing up, she bit her lip.Feeling everyone's gaze upon her, her eyes were blinking in the nervousness that started to gulp her as a whole.  Bowing with hesitance as Zal's gaze fell on her, her back shivered the second she felt his gaze on her hands. His eyes softly clenched in a soft frown as she took her fully stuffed plate and bowl before she walked away. Everyone looked up along with Mr. Xin who was busy on the phone. Looking up as her picking breath caught his attention, he looked back at Zal as he hesitantly watched her. Her eyes held a soft gaze while his eyebrows narrowed in worriness that was visible all outside. "Mr. Xin? Are you there?" As the voice on the phone he held echoed, he blinked while the thoughts were soon broken away from his brain while he was back to talking on the phone again. Zal's hand bowled into a fist before he tried to get up. As her mom's hand was pressed on his, her deep and soft glare made his face soften immediately. "Mom..i-" "Timmy, Hand me that bowl. He likes meat a lot" Mrs. Xin broke the silence as Timmy's head shot up from his plate before dropping his gaze upon Zal. Feeling his eyes drop down in worriness, Timmy bit onto his food as he handed him the bowl soon after. Watching Zal sit there while the sounds from the kitchen caught his attention here and there.  As her hands slowly pushed the food into one of the small dishes with the help of a fork, a deep sigh left her lips as soon as she placed them in the fridge. Biting onto her lip, her eyes looked up. Teary and bright, her eyes clutched close.  "You were brought….to be my bride."  Knuckles turned pale as she clutched the counter tight. Lips pressed, she prevented her body from collapsing before she walked out of there. Feeling the presence of him still sitting there at the table, she had no time to glance back while her head started to sting. Her steps were eager to reach her room and her skin started to turn pale. The back of her hand was placed against her mouth as tears fell right down her cheeks as she clutched close her eyes.  "and, They are tying you up with me?"  Eyes closing as she ran towards her room, she felt her body losing the balance she held longer than ever before she got inside. Slamming the door closed, her knees lost it and she was on the floor in no seconds. Breath stuck, her hands wrapped around her knees as soon as a voice echoed.  "Please be mine, Zal. Please…" her sister's (Kira) voice echoed as she covered her face.  "H-how can I .. how can I e-endure t-this?"  Kira likes him. And Cia knew it all along, but who knew she would have to face the reality where he was willing to take her instead of her sister?  Hands clenching tight against her dress, she felt her chest raising with every breath she tried to take. Feeling her eyes widening before closing, she tried to open the eyes, which didn't work. Feeling her body drifting off into dizziness, he felt the cold sweat coating her skin ever so much. The hand dropped down on the floor as her body lost control before the rain started to pour hard. Her body flinched as her ears started to pale out, her hands were already pressed against her ears. A whimper, tears started to stream down her cheeks. Within the thunder that started to storm, her body felt the coldness engulfing the whole of herself.  __________________________________ Rain pouring down, Kai still stood there with a cigarette lit between his lips. Sniffing out the smoke, his eyes glanced away from the view of the moody sky which was covered with grey clouds. The view of mountains already covered with fog of cold smoke had him take out another cigarette as soon as another one was under his shoe. Sighing along with his lips getting busy smoking a cigarette, his eyes landed on the table at the corner of the wall. Trying to light up the cigarette, his eyes focused on the table. The small feather, his eyes gazed deep at while the sky started to darken out up there. As he looked up at the sky, he frowned. Looking back at the bird feather on the table, he looked back at the sky. As his eyes widened in realisation, the lighter in his hand fell right down on the floor which had it echo aloud and resound all over.  __________________________________ Noises of cops and the victims and also the thundering rain that had his hair ruffled, none got his gaze away from the shining moon in the sky that was soon to be fading away in dark clouds. The lights of society glistened within the rain that started to pour harder. Thunders stormed louder but his thoughts seemed to cross the clouds. A small smile appeared upon his lips as soon as he tapped his pants pocket. As he took out the photo, his eyes gazed deep. "Yang! Are you going back to Beijing tomorrow?" Yang's thoughts were interrupted as he shot his head towards the cop. Nodding while his face held a stern expression for a second. Turning his gaze back to the photo, his hand leaned onto the window's door. Standing there, he caressed her face that was in the photo. A small bright smile, she looked so joyful and he could not help but let the smile slide onto his lips ever so smoothly. A breathy chuckle, he eyed the photo. While his finger slowly caressed her lips, he bit his lip, looking away before he pushed it inside the pocket. Looking at the sky and the wind brushing away the expression on his face where the coldness was back onto his face, he sniffed. "So you goin?" His friend spoke again as Yang sighed, turning around. Nodding, he took his bag. Already changed to his casual outfit, he looked like a hot mess. "Let's go man, I'm dying to eat a lot tonight" Yang rolled his eyes at the statement his friend made as his friend chuckled after. "Looks like she's in your mind again?" Yang's eyes shot up towards the front before shaking his head while his gaze was away from his friend's. "What are you talking about? I'm thinking about our new case" he smiled as his friend smirked after. " Oh c'mon! You told me you almost confessed to her last month". Yang's gaze concerned somewhere as his thoughts clouded him soon after.  "I… I"  "Mr. Y-yang, I..I feel dizzy"  Blinking away the thoughts, he soon felt his phone buzzing in his pants pocket. Taking out his phone, he looked at the unknown number that was shown on his phone screen. "Who could it be? We are not taking this shift though?" His friend mumbled before Yang picked it up. "Hello? Poli-" "H-help! Please H-help!" Yang let his bag handle go as he heard a female voice. "I-it is killing me! P-please! Help!" Yang's gaze dropped on his friend before his eyes sharpened. "Miss, don't worry. Tell me, where are you?"  " please help me! It's coming! It's coming!"   Yang picked up his bag as he took out his gun soon after. "Where are you!?" He yelled aloud as she replied after a few seconds.  "I-i'm at the school's p-pool."
