SACRED LOVE : 56 2/2 As she walked past the streets, her arm was soon held by him. Still trying to keep up with her pace, he took quick steps before she was turned around. “Ara, I-” She looked away from his eyes, making him furiously frown, already tired of her avoidance. “What's wrong with you?” His breathy voice made her lose patience and pull her hand out of his grip. Looking up into his eyes, she felt her heart picking up its beats. “Leave me alone.” His hand held her wrist once again, making her try to turn away, but then, his other hand desperately held her other hand. As she tried to get out of his grip, his eyes softened and soon, she was pulled closer, making her wide eyes meet his. “Why?” his breath fanned her lips and as his hand held her waist, her heart started to jumble around, making her feel strange all of a sudden. “Why is it always us, Ara?” His eyes softly gazed into hers. The way his eyes looked into hers made her blink the tears that already formed in her ears. “Why are you breaking us?” His hand held hers and soon, he placed it against his lips. Eyes blinking, the feelings towards him seemed to be hard to resist for her as her heart skipped beats one after another as she felt his lips against her hand. Soon, she flinched when his arms were wrapped around her and soon, a tight hug made her stumble back. Hand on her head, he hid his head in the crook of her neck. His quiet sobs made her blink. Tears slipping off the corner of her eyes, she hesitantly laid her hand on his back. Rubbing his back, she sobbed as his hand caressed her hair. Both of their anger and pain melted in the warmth they both shared under the shining moon. Breaking the hug, his eyes searched for hers. Not a second passed before her cheeks were held tight. Eyes glancing at her lips, then into her eyes, he leaned closer. Nodding, she had his lips meet hers. The time froze as her hands slowly wrapped around his waist. Deepening the kiss, both of their cheeks were stained with tears. Stepping more closer, his fingers rubbed her cheeks with a gentle caress, making her kiss back with the same passion he shared. Eyes closing, their lips collided willingly while her hands raised to gently hold his cheeks. As she tilted his head, his shoulders quivered within hers as his hand which held her waist slightly lifted her from the floor. Breaking the kiss, they both gasped for air. Arms wrapped around each other, she looked down into his eyes. Eyes opening, he gazed right into hers. As he slowly eyed her face, a smile broke on his face when she caressed his cheek. As he let her down, their foreheads leaned against each other within his hand caressing her cheek. “Don’t.” As she tried to move her wrist, he breathed out, making her blink. Looking down at her hand which he held tighter, she hesitantly looked up at him. “T..they might recognize you-” “I don’t care.” Her cheeks were held once again making her gaze at him softly. “As long as you are closer, I need nothing.” As his lips met hers once again only to pull away after, her hand was pulled making her eyes go wide. “Wait-” His head turned around as he pulled her with him while running. “What are you waiting for? Let’s love each other..” Her eyes widened, making him smile wide while he ran with her. Hair flying while the unexpected joy filled her heart. A smile, her cheeks warmed up as she felt her body warming up in the comfort she had felt in a long time. As her eyes glanced down, the intertwined fingers of both of theirs made her eyes fill up with tears that were due to joy instead of the pain she always felt. Chuckling, she wiped them as she felt him almost dragging her. ____________________________________________________________________________ “Ah.. What time is it?” Not being able to swear because of this young girl, I was dying inside of saying ‘ah’ every time I was about to cuss. Her glares are the least thing I could ever want my back to be poked by. Look at her, walking with her hands holding her dress up till her ankles. Taking long steps towards where I was standing, she looked so funny and my hand was already against my mouth to prevent any laugh that could slip out of my mouth. As I glanced at her, my eyes blinked in admiration, The mud was accidentally rubbed over her jaw and the side of her forehead, her skin looked very attractive and. For no reason, I wished she could just wipe that off, because if she stepped any closer with that face and those doe eyes, I might lose control. Mr. Pervert, do you even have any job other than having thoughts like this?? I rubbed my face before frustratingly tapping the watch I wore. As the watch glitched, my eyes widened in hope. But then, A thud echoed. My head shot towards her and my eyes almost balled out when I saw no presence of her. “Cia? Cia!?” fxck, no! As I ran down, my legs slipped and soon, I skated down the hill before stopping where she was walking up. Looking around, my hands brushed the dust off my knees. “Cia!? Where are you!?” I looked around as the tension in me started to freak my own self out. “Fxck, Cia! Cia!!” I raised the volume of my scream until I heard her voice. “W-What are y-y-y-you doing t-there??” My head shot up and my eyes widened. Wait, when did she get up there? “w..wait , you… the sound-” I scratched my head and as I pointed at the trees, my eyebrows raised to see the small yet thick stems of trees on the floor. Looking back at her, I watched her act as if she didn’t know what she had just done before she turned around. “L-Let’s go, W-W ar-are um l-late.” I glared at her as she walked up with her hands again holding up the heavy dress up her feet. How dare you, you little girl, I shook my head as I watched her back rise with pride from afar. “Cheater.” I mumbled under my breath as she glanced at me to see if I was following her. Stomping up, I glared at her but then a smile slipped out of my lips watching her hesitantly look away. Hand picking the grass flower off the land, I started to look around. I heard the mountains have really cool weather throughout the day, so I was more than glad. But as I watched the time pass by, we had not even reached half of the path we were trying to reach, making me scared. As soon as the sun goes down, the animals wake up to search for their prey and I don't want that to be us. Wait, what the fxck is wrong with my thoughts? “Z-Zal!” My head shot up as I took a run towards her. “Shh, don't shout that loud.” she leaned back as i scolded her before looking around. “What is it?” I said as I eyed her face. Fxck, she must have felt bad again. Stupid zal. Stop always nagging. You are not some stranger but her hus- Coughing aloud, I felt my cheeks flushing red as soon as I realized what I was about to say in my mind. She glanced up at me and then again my hand that was against my mouth. Politely coughing, I noticed her hesitance before she sneakily stepped forward from me. Humming as if she was finally satisfied, she peeked at my watch. “W-what ti-time is i-it?” blinking vigorously, her cheeks warmed up at the end, making me continue staring at her cheeks. Hiding the smile that was dying to form on my face, I looked down at my wrist before above us—where the sun wasn’t there anymore. “Maybe like 6? Yeah.” I scratched the back of my neck making her eyes go wide. “S-Six!?” I eyed her while my hand lazily dropped on my hips. “No it’s actually Nine.” I sarcastically said, making her eyes go wide. “N-Nine!? H-How-Z-Zal-” I sighed in frustration. Welp, no wonder she said she was nauseous. Symptoms are very visible. As I rolled my eyes, I held her hand. “Ah, do we even have to care if it is Six? Come on, we have a lot to cross!” I groaned, making her stumble forward as I pulled her to walk along, but then, she held my hand. “B-But, W-we are n-near the h-hill p-point.” She mumbled, making my eyes go wide in surprise. “Wait, really!?” I mumbled as my hand fell over her shoulder unconsciously. I glanced up and yes, it was true! We have already reached that point. Just a few steps, we will be able to reach there. Gladfully- My eyes fell on my hand. Her eyes gaping at the hand, then my eyes made my lips close and immediately I pulled back my hand. Turning away, I scratched the back of my neck. Fxck, I should not have done that. As I heard her already walking up with her hand slowly landing on the trees that could help her climb up, I sighed heavily as I followed her. As she climbed up, my head spinned more than usual and my hand dropped on the back of my head. As the cold wind blew past my skin, my hair was brushed off my face. The sunset’s rays fell on my face, making it hard for me to open my eyes as I dropped my gaze down with my eyes soon closing. “Ah.. seriously.” Not able to cuss once again, I rubbed my head. The sudden chirping of birds made me frown and as I heard the giggle and squeal of a woman, my eyes glanced up, feeling the voice was so close to being familiar for a moment . When my eyes blinked away the bright rays, my hand was in front but a bit far to see who it was. Her long hair, the historical clothes on her made me frown softly before her head turned around. Hand extending for me to grab, she laughed and giggled within her smile as bright as the sun, widening with joyful happiness. As I felt the nerves in my brain pulse with pain, I groaned as I closed my eyes and when I opened them again to take a glance at the different version of her I just saw, everything was normal as before, making me blink. Looking around, I searched for her before I felt a tug on my arm. “Z-Zal! I-It’s get-tting d-d-dark!” A gasp, I realized that my breath had been stuck this whole time and my eyes averted to her before she pointed above. “They are there!”
