SACRED LOVE : 54 2/2
The long hair was tied with a ribbon that really suited the dress she wore. With her knee still aching, she didn’t let the smile drop off from her face. Taking small steps along with him, she didn’t realize how tight he held her hand in his. As casual as it looked, Cia didn’t even give a glance at him but admired everything she could at that moment. The town was full of banquet halls, fruit markets and she couldn’t take her eyes off the Arenzol Tea’s in which was famous in the cities. As she made it out of the crowd, he was dragged along with her. “W-Waa..” her gaspy voice made Zal’s eyes avert to her from the Arenzol Tea’s. Smiling, she glanced at him with tears in her eyes. He got worried as soon as she looked away. “Hey, what’s w..wrong??” he said while his fingers tightened its grip on her hand. “I-It’s s-s-so b-beautiful!” She burst into tears making him blink. Softly smiling, he gaped at her in adoration. Realizing that she is looking like a mess, she tried to regulate her breath but when his warm palm landed on her head, her eyes blinked. Eyebrows raising, she glanced up into her eyes as he softly smiled at her. Tilting his head, he gently caressed her hair. “There, there..” His voice made her eyes gaze into his with such emotions she never knew that existed in her. Wandering thoughts faded into thin air when his hand slowly stroked her hair. “There is a lot more to see, so why don’t you wipe those tears and hold my hand?” he waved it in front of her eyes, making her sniff. As she looked up at him again, she gave a wide smile and held his hand softly and the confidence she showed within every move she did made him hope that it was not a dream once again.
As she looked behind Zal’s shoulder, her eyes lit up and soon she dragged him towards the fruit market. She looked around making him just admire her. A grin, he was soon dragged out of there that made him softly laugh at her excitement. As she held his wrist, the nerve against her fingertips—under his skin started to pulse faster but she didn’t realize. He could feel it. The urge to hold her tight and close the very moment her smile was bright and wide. As she paused in her tracks, her eyes trailed around while she adored the decoration. As she saw theapples, she knew she could not resist herself. As she let his hand go, he looked down at his own wrist. Too desperate to feel her warmth against the wrist, he stayed still, not knowing what to do at the moment. As she picked up some apples, she smelled one of them and a breathy smile left her lips already in love with what she was picking up. She was startled when the woman handed her the small basket. Biting her lip, she hesitantly took it before bowing respectively.
“Oh my! It was Xin’s Elder prince, wasn't it?!” The woman in her 60’s mumbled along with a gasp before letting her grandchildren roam around so they won’t bother them.
“Good morning, Mrs. Tun”.
He bowed respectively before She warmfully greeted back along with a half bow. “Welcome back to Valencia, i didn't expect to see you here, Mr. Xin” She softly stated with her hand patting on his shoulder. He nodded hesitantly. “Mother wanted to see Mr. Franziska, so had no choice.” She softly laughed as he mumbled within his hand scratching the back of his neck. He gulped before smiling. “What’s wrong, Mrs. Tun, did I say something odd?” Mrs.Tun tried to control her laugh before shaking her head as no. “Nothing, Mr. Xin. Nothing.” She reassured making him breathe in deep. “What is it,Mrs. Tun?” He repeated his question making Mrs. Tun grin. “It’s just, you are a good liar, Mr. Xin.” Constantly glancing back Cia who was groaned in the fruits she was picking up, he made sure she is safe where she is while nodding to every word Mrs. Tun babbled. “I know your fiance has also come?” She whispered with her hand beside hermouth making Zal glance away from cia while smiling nervously. “Mrs. Tun, I’m sure you are invited to tomorrow’s party?” Nodding slowly while trying her best to not ask any further questions had Zal force out a smile. “I will make sure you will get to meet F..” He forced himself once again before speaking out. “I will make sure you will get to meet Father” Her eyebrows raised before she kind of nodded her head in agreement. “Alright, Mr. Xin, I might have to take a leave now.” She kindly spoke, making him bow. “Please, do.” He stated before she smirked at him. Leaning close to his ear, she kept her hand against his shoulder. “By the way, your fiance looks so beautiful.” As his cheeks flushed red, he went stiff and the breath was stuck before he breathily chuckled, pushing the woman to already leave. “Please, Mr. Tun. Don’t do this right now.” He rubbed his face as she laughed, walking away from there. Glancing back at her, he couldn’t help but smile. As the man who held bread in his hand glanced at Cia and him, he grinned before his small daughter pulled him to get somewhere. The way his gaze was so romantic and admirable really got other people teasing them indirectly. As the young gang of men smirked at Zal who couldn’t stop staring at her, Some of them even giggled aloud but Zal didn’t notice nor hear them. As he felt a tug on his pants, his eyes averted from Cia. Looking down, he noticed it was a little girl. Looking around, he bent down before smiling at the gir. “What do you want?” the kid blinked before sniffing. Blinking, he pressed his lips close as the way Cia sniffs got back to his mind.
No wonder when they said she is still a kid living as an adult.
He shook his head while grinning until the girl pointed at the Arenzol Tea’s. “A-Appa..” she cried, making him look at the Arenzol Tea’s. “What happened to your dad?” he held her shoulders before she sobbed aloud. “H-He l-lost his w-wway.” she cried, making him breathe out the oxygen that had been stuck in his throat. Picking her up, he wiped her tears before looking back at Cia who giggled with other ladies around. “We will find your appa, alright?” He smiled, taking her with him.
Walking around the Arenzol Tea’s, Zal looked around, trying to find her father. “What is your father wearing?” he softly asked while caressing her head and she sniffed. “B-Brown and green.” she exclaimed, making him bite his lip. “Alright” he breathed out as he picked her up once again and slightly sped his steps up to the other side of the street. Looking around as the sweat beads dripped down his skin. “Damn, where is he-” his eyes fell on the green shirt which the gigantic man wore. “Excuse me, sir!” he yelled but then the man didn’t listen. He looked furious and tense. His eyes wandered around the roads while the bags barely hung on his shoulder until Zal grunted, feeling his head spinning due to the sun. “Appa!” As the squea;ing voice of the kid reached the gigantic man’s ears, he turned his head towards them and soon, his body seemed to move on its own. Pushing everyone out of the way, he immediately took the kid off Zal’s arms. “Appa! Brother helped me.” She grinned and giggled, making the man peck her head before looking at Zal. “Thank you..so much, your highness.” he looked around him before pointing at himself. “Ah…hahah stop calling me that please..” The man squinted his eyes while smiling. “Wait, You don’t like it?” he mumbled under his breath before Zal patted the kid’s head. “Be careful next time, she is too small.” he smiled before walking away from there. Still staring at the back of zal, he turned away to walk out of the crowd.
As he ran back to the fruit market, sweat already started to drip down his face. Wiping off the sweat, he looked up with a smile of relief but the smile didn’t stay longer. An apple in his hand, the eyes of the strange guy trailed down Cia’s posture from behind. Humming something, he bit the apple while leaning closer to her ear making her flinch. Not even sparing a glance, she was replaced by a woman who glared at the guy. “Ignore him.” Zal’s blood boiled in anger as soon as the grin on his filthy mouth turned more and more wide. Leaning closer to her ear, he eyed her body, making her body tremble in fear.
“You turn me on like a light switch.”
His voice reached Zal and he had no time to listen more. Gritting his teeth, his sleeves are pulled up till his elbows. “Fxcking bastard!”
