Chapter 6:
My eyes widened and I gulped in fear.
“I- I don’t know , your highness I was b-born this way.” I replied.
"Very well." he said, then stood up and began to walk towards me. My heart slammed into my chest as fear slammed into me forcefully.
For each step he took towards me, I took two back.
My heart hammering in my chest, as different sensations rushed through my body. He growled low, a warning, but I couldn't heed it for I was too far gone in my fear. His eyes turned completely black.
My back hit the wall and I frantically began to search for the doorknob, without taking my eyes off him.As he got closer and closer my panic increased and I forgot to breathe.
It vaguely occurred to me that he'd slowed his steps and it didn't seem like he was angry or about to beat the
