Chapter 13: Back to work

Helfeim's POV

Kasalukuyan akong nasa Cafe. As usual nag iisa lang ako. After the incident, hindi ko maiwasan na magsapantaha lalo na at nagiging mas malapit si Victoria kay Mr. Azreal.

I flinched when I received a call.

" Hello? Mav you called?"

(" Louis asked kung nasaan ka. I wonder kung saan nga ba.") May tonong tanong nya sakin.

I just chuckled.

" Don't worry, I'm nowhere anything dangerous as of this point." sabay end ng call at tumayo lang sa harap ng malaking salamin habang hinihintay na may umasungot sakin.

Pinsan ko nga pala si Mavericht at isa rin syang Aubrium . Kapatid ng papa ko yung papa nya so technically magpinsan nga kami. Kaya sa kanila ako lagi nakabuntot. But when they have their own business I always stay out of it. I also have my own business to attend to so why bother.

People don't like me except my peers. Who cares anyway. As long as there's money wala akong problema.

"Nandito ka lang pala , kanina ka pa pinapahanap ni Mom sakin. Bakit ba nakapatay phone mo?" si Vivienne, kapatid ko.

I smirked, more like i blocked her number.

" Bakit? " naka poker face na tanong ko

" Basta sabi nya pumunta ka nalang daw sa Director's Office." sabi nya

Napairap nalang ako. For the record, my mother owns this school so technically. I have the power to wield the people around me.

" I'll be there, tell that sassy mom of yours to wait" sabi ko sabay higop ng iced coffee ko.

" But mom says come imediately, " sabi nya

" Its either I ditch it or come late. Pumili ka. I'm still enjoying my coffee."

" Whatever. You're still dead " sabi nya saka tumalikod.

Kung pagbabasehan pareho lang kaming brat but in some cases lamang ako sakanya because I have beauty and brains, sya may beauty pero kulang sa brains.

Inubos ko na yung kape ko saka lumakad sa school.

Pagpasok ko sa office ay bumungad kaagad ang dark aura. For the record, the vibe is gloomy and it creeps me out.

Nakita ko si mom na nakaupo sa couch. Whats with her visiting the school.

" I'm here " bored kong sabi pagkapasok ko

" Have a seat Helfeim" sabi ni mom

Nakakapangilabot naman mga ngiti nya.

Tahimik akong umupo.

" Your rank dropped. Rank four? From First to Fourth? What seems to be the trouble?" tanong ni mom.

" I have no Idea . My grades are fine. You are making it a big deal for you" sabi ko

" We own a school. And I expect you to be the first." sabi nya

" Is that it? I have better things to do . Excuse me" sabi ko saka tumayo at tumalikod. Bastos ako so don't complain

" I have a proposal to you. If you graduate as Suma c*m Laude I can terminate the Engagement but If you don't ,you'll be marrying the CEO of AlCom. Be careful on how you act. It might be your downfall." sabi ng mom ko

Crap! I forgot about that thing. I'm engage to someone I dont know and I dont even saw. What's worst is that I dont even love him. My mom blackmailed me for the fourth time.

Now I have to study my ass off. If only that Melendez twins and Louis didn't surpassed me then I'm still the first. But it's my fault as well.

Victoria's POV

Nasa bahay ako ngayon at excused sa klase. Pero may extension na ako sa Related Learning Experience ko dahil sa absence ko. Never fear, we own a hospital.

It's a good thing actually since its too boring naman sa school. Besides sa pagiging Delta ko sa DWE. I am also have the advantage in terms of knowledge ko compared to my sister.

On the other hand, after that incident. The Supreme Student Council informed us that Polybius is banned now. The Club is gone before it even started to boom.

Kasama ko ngayon si Viandre. Pinagbantaan kasi ni Mavericht.

FLASHBACK

" Oh come on Mav. Do I really have to do this?" Sigaw ni Viandre

" Bantayan mo nalang nang hindi kita mapatay. " sigaw ni Mav

" Paano naman case study at NCP ko?"

" Problema mo na yon. Kung pinrotektahan mo sana si Tori nung gabing yon edi sana di tayo nagkakagulo ngayon!" Mav

"Its Not my fault. Besides bakit mo ba ako inaaway?"

Pinanlisikan lang ng mata ni Mav si Viandre kahit anong sigawan nila walang nagpapatalo.

Nag early visit kasi sila kanina para ibigay ang Fruits.

" Tori Pwede ba akong makahiram ng Laptop mo?? Makikitype lang ako ng Case Study ko"

" Wala ka bang Laptop jan?" tanong ko

" Naiwan sa Clubroom natin nung nagdaang araw."

"Jan sa table ko meron jan. Pumili ka kung alin jan. " sabi ko

Agad namang tumayo ang hunghang saka pumili ng gagamiting Laptop.

Hindi naman sya nasurprise. Akala ko magtatanong din sya gaya ni Azithere.

"Viandre may itatanong ako."

" Ano yun?"

" May gusto ka ba kay Mav?" out of the blue kong tanong.

*COUGH COUGH!*

" Anong klaseng tanong ba yan Tori? Syempre wala. It hurts my pride to be under a girl without a reason. She always do that eversince. Kaya hinding hindi ako magkakagusto sa isang Aubrium. " sabi nya

" Then How about Helfeim? Don't you find her interesting?"

" Not a chance. Helfeim is worse than her even Helfeim's younger sister is a brat too. The Aubrium Clans are wicked. If it isn't for Skyler which is also my long best friend I would have avoided them." sabi nya

Hanga din ako kay Viandre. Nagagawa nyang kontrolin ang pagiging antipatiko nya pagdating sa kaibigan.

" Ikaw Tori may nagugustuhan ka bang tao?" tanong ni Viandre habang nagtatype sa Laptop

"For now. Wala pa" sabi ko habang inuubos na ang cake

" How about Louis?" tanong nya

"I just see him as a brother."

" Paano kung ligawan ka nun? May chance ba?"

" Were friends. Walang talo talo."

" Pero dati ba meron kang nagustuhan? I will rephrase. Is there a guy that caught your attention?" tanong nya

" There is one. Kilala mo rin sya . Long ago ay naligaw ang landas nya dito sa bahay habang nag iisa ako. He stayed for a couple of days but then disappeared after that. We met again in palawan , that's how I got this scar in my shoulder and now we met again and I gain one more gunshot wound." sabi ko

" So you mean one of the three guys is your Delinquent? How Interesting. Let me guess. That son of a-"

" It's Azithere" sabi ko

" Whoa! So I was right all along? Kaya pala laging nakadikit yung mata ng Azithere na yun sayo kahit saan ka magpunta. Especially kapag nasa Cafeteria tayo. I think may gusto din sya sayo." sabi nya

" He is probably not interested in me. I think he'd rather read some of his papers than taking a glance at me." sabi ko but There is something wrong about the last sentence. Parang mali nung sinabi ko. How I wish he could love me back.

" Well if that's the case then I suppose I won't ask for more. Oh and Skyler by the way likes your sister. " sabi ni Viandre

What about them?I don't seem to remember it quite right.

" He likes my what?" tanong ko

" Tell that sister of yours not to intimidate Skyler too much. Mas antipatiko yun kaysa sakin." sabi nya

Valentine's POV

I am walking at the hallway at exactly 5:00 am . I know that it's so early for me to be here. Tatapusin ko pa yung Disecting namin ng preserved human cadaver. I'm heading towards my locker to get my stuffs there

What the-

Bakit ganito? Kelan pa naging box storage ang locker ni Tori? Puro boxes of gifts? Kanino to galing? And how did that person picked her lock.

Binuksan ko din kasi yung locker nya to check.

Kinuha ko nalang ang surgery gown ko saka gloves at tumalima sa Laboratory. Saka ko na to iisipin.

Ouch! Ponyeta naman tong bumangga sakin.

" Ano ba. Hindi ka ba tumitingin sa dinadaanan mo?" sabi ko

Abat ang gago tumayo saka kumaripas ng takbo. Teka mukhang si Louis yun ah.

" Hoy Louis sandali!" Sigaw ko habang hinahabol sya.

Victoria's POV

Mag isa na ako ngayon sa bahay. Pinauwi ko na kasi si Viandre dahil may klase pa sya at tatapusin sa laboratory. Besides, Falcon told me na tatawag sya mamaya.

Nagulat ako nang mag ring bigla ang phone ko. Akala ko si Falcon na pero ang nakarehistro ay si Zulu.

May isang mensahe din na galing kay

Oh shoot! Si Zulu tumatawag.

" Reservist speaking." Bati ko

(" How are you Delta?" Tumibok ang puso ko pagkarinig ko ng codename ko. Halos masinok ako sa saya. So I'm still the Delta?

" I'm fine Zulu! How may I help you?"

(" Come to the headquarters now. We have new mission for you. Alpha ordered you to come.")

Pagkatapos ng tawag ay natulala ako at hindi makapaniwala. I sure do want a Peaceful life but I'm more at peace when I'm in action

Binasa ko din yung mensahe ni Yankee.

(" I overheard that you'll come back. Nandito ako sa headquarters.")

Pagkatapos ay kaagad akong tumakbo sa secret room at nagbihis. Nagdala din ako ng iilan sa mga weapons ko at ang Ducati ko parin ang ginamit ko since walang nakaka alam na may motor ako.

Pinaharurot ko lang ang motor hanggang sa makarating ako sa Headquarters.

Bumati sakin ang mga DK at reservist na nadatnan ko sa lobby.

Nang matapat na ako sa pintuan ay nag aalangan ako kung kakatok ba ako. It's been months since I went here.

" That door won't open if you keep staring at it."

Lumingon ako at nakilala ko agad kung sino ang nagsalita. Naka full face mask parin ito ngayon gaya ng dati.

" Falcon! Good to see you here! Boy I missed you!"

" Likewise Delta. Back to work?"

" Zulu called that Alpha ordered me to come."

" Then let's go, I have to report as well."

I just prayed at this point that my mission will be exciting.
