Gears brought up the image of the blue-green planet on the tri-screen’s viewers in the middle of the flight deck, something that had been added during the last refit.
The viewers were a trio of screens set on a pedestal in the center of the deck, arranged in a triangular pattern, so every crew person could see, from their stations, whatever was projected. The old flight seats had been fixed to the deck but the new seats were designed to swivel. Being able to move his chair made Nick uncomfortable and slightly nauseous when the ship shifted position beneath him.
