Navarro and I hadn’t spoken much since Xe showed up. I wasn’t sure if their presence was a good or bad thing. There was a heavy air between Navarro and me, and I wasn’t sure if it was because he was upset with me, or we both knew there was a high probability whatever we had would be over after tonight.
