I woke up feeling more refreshed than I had in a long time. Navarro’s arm was still draped around my waist, and I rotated to face him. His eyelids were fluttering softly, which made me wonder what he was dreaming about. He looked peaceful as he slept. The bags under his eyes were no longer there, and his head wound was nearly gone at this point as well. I softly brushed the hair out of his face and leaned in to give him a kiss on the forehead. I slipped out of his grip and started organizing our stuff. Our clothes were now dry, but I still chose to put on the clean shirt I was given by Jojo, and I paired it with my leather vest and the pants from before–the pants Jojo gave me didn’t fit at all.
