Chapter 7: Defeat the monsters (part 2)

Saying “I will do my best in this battle is easy” But the reality sure bite you down when you are too confident.
“Hold… Hold on a minute!”
I shouted to the serpent I’m facing.
With high speed, it swims toward my direction with raging red eyes.
“Stealth.”
Stealth skills allow me to hide behind the giant rock. Successfully avoided the dangerous monster’s dangerous tackle attack. The tackle destroys a part of the land area.
If the land area in this lake all sink on the lake. My chance of defeating this monster will go down to zero.
The level gap is too high, can I really kill this monster? Also, why this dungeon has too many boss-like monsters. That’s too unbalance! The creator of this game sure has bad taste.
But the reality that I have to face this monster will never change I have to do something or else its game over.
The coral serpent started moving and look around searching for me. Since I’m the only creature moving in this close space. I’m easily detected and got blasted with its water blaster from its mouth.
The waves on the lake became higher and higher. Some portion of lands that I don’t want to sink started to sink.
I have no choice and to dive down in deep lake water.
Diving down in the lake water, I accelerated my self to the lake and use my mapping skill to know if there was an exit in that lake leading for my escape route, unfortunately, luck is not on my side and the lake water don’t have a hole where I can exit. The only hole in the lake is where the lake water is coming from.
According to my mapping skill, the hole goes deeper and there is no place for me to breathe. I’m an elf but I still need air to survive.
The serpent gone confused and starting to look around for me.
Looks like It didn’t know where I go. Thanks to my stealth skill I’m able to conceal my presence underwater.
If that’s the case then it’s time for this.
Take my surprise attack!
With my sword in my hand, I swung my sword in underwater and cast wind magic.
“Wind s***h!”
I cast the magic multiple times and damage the coral serpent’s body. Some of its colorful scales started to crumble from its body and float in the lake water. Seeing it’s of scale float makes it rage and its eyes turned red.
“Roaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar!!”
The roar of the coral serpent makes a little magnitude in the water.
I run out of oxygen and quickly swim upward and catch some air to breathe.
“Ahhhhhh… That was close.”
Seems like I hit a nerve.
“Status-check.”

I barely made any damage at all but looks like the water blaster it used earlier does consume a lot of MP(Magic).
The coral blue serpent looks toward me with its red raging eyes.
I started to shake in fear but still held my sword.
The serpent swam fast and open its huge fang. Its sharp tooth turned Ice spikes and at the moment it nearly reaches me it closed down to bite me.
I avoided the attack by using wind magic to my feet to accelerate my speed and make some stepping stone using my earth magic.
My damage is small but it’s still working. All I need is to keep doing this.
“Wind s***h!”
I use wind s***h again toward its head.
I place a stepping stone that surrounds the serpent and started jumping on each stone and launching wind s***h in a different direction.
Knowing that it's taking more damage. The serpent dive down into the lake.
“What? It’s going to hide?”
Below the stone I’m standing huge shadow was seen and the serpent suddenly emerges from deep water.
The magic started to form from its mouth.
It reminded me of the Ice salamander attack that nearly wipes out Retto’s squad.
The mouth of the serpent is so close and I can’t move in the air.
It’s a point-blank shot that will certainly kill me.
I then remember Retto’s sword skill he teaches me earlier.
“Sword skill: Cut!”
Retto mentioned that can almost cut anything. I don’t know but I hope it works. I cut down the magic forming inside the mouth of the serpent.
The moment I cut it The magic form on its mouth started to overflow and make a magical explosion.
“I’m alive! I’m alive!”
I’m so happy that I’m able to survive that point-blank attack and fell to the lake water with a smile.
But the battle is not over yet.

My technique is not enough, I guess I need to learn a new skill.
A window appeared in front of me and show some text.

I don’t know how this window shows up but it’s great timing.

I poke the window and the text change.

Only three magic can be learned in my skill point. Planting magic? What is that? Is that an ability to grow plants? It may be a good skill for a farmer but I don’t have use in my current situation.
Ice magic, I see, This will help me out in this tragedy.

I tap yes and I learned Ice magic.
I used earth magic to make a small portion of the rock to stand and in 20 meters distance from the Coral blue serpent. I cast the Ice magic I just learned.
“Ice Freeze!”
I freeze the drenched body of the serpent and some water in its place. Its ability to move is gone and All I need to do is attack until its Life goes down to zero.
A magnificent feat from me. I’m such a genius girl. I knew it! I knew it! In my previous life, I’m such a beautiful girl with high grades. I just reincarnated in this world and became this small cute elf. Now if I defeat this monster my experience points will go high and level up several times. I might reach Retto’s level and started kicking him around.
Those funny thoughts flow in my head.
Enough fooling around.
“Sword skill: Cut!”
Before I cut down the serpent. The serpent breaks free from the Ice and Its scales turned in different colors. It started to glow in different rainbow colors. Beautiful enough to stun anyone.
“You’re kidding me… Dear game master, your game is such garbage!”
The Serpent Attacked me and swallow my body.
“Gulp.”
I opened my eyes and saw myself inside the serpent's body.
“How I’m still alive? I’m supposed to be eaten. Forget it, being alive is good. Good thing I’m swallowed in a hole and didn’t lose any limbs.”
A smart idea goes to my head.
I touch the flesh of the serpent in its stomach.
“It’s soft.”
I used my sword to stab it. My blade goes through without any fail.
“If I can’t kill you from outside, then I will kill you from inside.”
I cut the flesh inside the serpent multiple times damaging the serpent critically.
“Roaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar!”
The roar is different from earlier, this time it’s roaring from pain.
The serpent started to go rampage and started to slam its own body in the crystal walls in the lake. The serpent takes damage from my sword and also from its own self-destructive behavior.

“Struggling is futile, just die already! Wind s***h!”
I put everything from my wind s***h and cut down the serpent from the inside.
I also free myself from its stomach.
The crystal blue lake started to turn red because of its blood.
“This is literally a blood bath.”
The Coral blue Serpent was defeated and experience points were added to mine.

My survival rate in this dungeon increased. I wonder what happened to Retto?
Retto defeated the black viper and level up. Retto uses his smith skill and uses the fang of the Viper to make a sword that can poison target enemies when cut down using its blade.
“Instead of a sword, this thing is better to suit as daggers.”
Retto remade the sword to became daggers. He then put it to his waist in case of trouble happened.
In this dungeon, there is no way of knowing when the monster came to attack you.
Meanwhile in the Kingdom. The queen started to cry the moment her son leave the Kingdom. Prince Alexander leaves the kingdom to capture the crystal dungeon. The crystal dungeon is very dangerous and the queen didn’t even know the tragedy her son met in the dungeon.
Because of that, the queen hired an S-rank adventurer in the capital city to look for prince Alexander.
“Your majesty.”
The S-rank adventurer with Ninja-like armor arrived in the kingdom and having a secret meeting in the garden with the queen.
“Gale, I heard your great deeds and heard rumors in your powers. You are quite popular and said to be strong. I wanted to knew how strong you are. I will pay double for this mission, just assure the safety of my child from the monsters in the crystal dungeon.”
The queen said.
“Are you hiring me as a bodyguard?”
“Exactly.”
“You’re son is a prince and blessed with royal abilities. The power of royalties is far greater than I am. How am I able to protect something far powerful than myself?”
Replied Gale.
“I have trust in my son's ability, but as a mother, I can’t sleep well until a assure their safety. I don’t know but this aching feeling in my heart. What is this?”
The queen held her chest and her eyes were filled with anxiety.
Gale the ninja immediately responded.
“Rest assure my majesty… I will do my best to meet your expectation.”
With the gust of wind, Gale faded in the garden and the tears of the queen fell from her eyes.
