Chapter 2: The dungeon Raid

Hello! It’s Mayu again, and I’m currently adapting to this new world. This world is really crazy and full of monsters. I’m living here for two months, I guess, I don’t know but it’s been a long time already. I gather many items and level up.
I learned several elements of magic and some useful abilities. Most of my ability is used in setting a trap to defeat huge monsters. Huge monsters with higher-level give many experience points after all.
I admit that I’m a bit reckless sometimes. But, still thank goodness that I survive living in this insane dungeon.

My status check is revealing more information than before. This must be the effect of leveling Status-check. Status-check is a really useful skill right now. Because with that skill. I can check the object and item I stumble upon my journey in this huge dungeon. With that, I can see the potential of the item.
I made a new base inside the dungeon. I build a small house using my skill. It’s a simple house that looks like a gingerbread house. The walls look tasty by this is just stone I crave. The house is made with different sturdy stones I found in the dungeon. Also, I made an alarm system with strings and bells for my traps.
I’m currently resting in my house and started to use my mapping skill to take a look at the place I have been through.
A window appeared in front of me containing the dungeon locations.
“I’m always thinking that the dragon I saw on the first day I came here is the dungeon boss. Meaning that. I might be in the deeper level of this dungeon. That crystal-like rock is also proof that I’m on a deep level. According to my status check. Ice crystal is only formed in the deep level of the soil. I already claimed many floors but still can’t see the light of the sun. Just how deep is this dungeon anyway. Also, Why I’m reincarnated in such a dangerous place! Hey! This game is shitty! The game master can you hear me!”
I said.
It’s common sense to give a player a decent starting item and live in a normal starting town.
Well, I’m suffering a lot in this place because of my cute charm ability that attracts monsters especially those opposite gender monsters that started to look toward me with those p*****t eyes. I always have to run as fast as I can.
“No way! No way! I’m going to lose here, I hate losing after all.”
I rolled on the floor over and over again.
One of my bells started to ring.
“A monster is been caught with my trap.”
Time to get some experience points and level up again.
I equip myself with my armor made by myself and sword. I leave my home and go to the location of the trap I made.
Reaching the trap I saw a White wolf caught in my net trap with poison. The wolf is severely taken much damage and currently on verge of death. Looking at it with my status check. I saw that this wolf has a higher level than me and has some skills like night vision and agile.
It excites and then I drew my sword and stabbed the wolf throat.
“Sorry but this is survival. I will turn you into my experience points.”
After killing the wolf and getting it’s experience points. I then butcher it and get its meat and fur. With my crafting skill, I would like to make a cloak with this fur and I wonder if this meat tastes good. It’s my first time catching this kind of monster in this dungeon after all.
Moments later. I get some pile of woods and started a camp. I roasted the wolf meat and eat it. I also finished making my fur cloak and as I saw its stats. I saw numbers in hundreds in every stats. If I equipped this cloak. I will obtain these stats.

This is awesome, with this item I can level up fast.
With its claws, I can make a new sword. I use my smith skill to make a sword.
“Ta-da! The new sword is made! I will call this Silver claw sword. Now, let's check it’s status.”

Good thing I have a wind skill. I guess I can combine my skill with this sword as I attack.
In my wind magic. I can use this simple wind magic.
“Wind cutter!”
As I swing the sword and cast the spell. A blade-like force appeared and cut through the huge rock like it was butter.
“So cool! I can use powerful magic now.”
Before my wind cutter can even cut branches of trees now it can cut rocks.
With my newly acquired power. I can hunt a monster that is a higher level than myself.
Deciding that, I go and do an adventure in the dungeon to expand my map and get more experience points and level up. Because just like in much Role-playing game. The higher the level you are, the powerful you are. Grinding is a part of this game. I will level up and eventually go out in this dungeon and find out why I’m reborn here.
I reached an unknown location and started expanding my map.
“It’s so dark and cold here. The chilly wind is coming from the darkest path. Should I go there? I’m a girl and I’m scared of a dark place. But if the wind can travel there then the exit might be near. All I need is to follow this wind and get myself out in this dungeon.”
I walked slowly and put my hands to the walls.
I heard the sound of metal striking each other and different types of the magic cast.
As I reach the dark path and see the happening inside. I saw humans and Ice salamander monsters in the middle of their battle.
“Flaming arrows!”
Cast by the wizards.
“Earth spike!”
“Water tornado!”
“Chaos whirlwind!”
“Lightning heavenly lance!”
They attack the Ice monsters with continuous attacks.
I use my status check and saw that the Ice salamander still has massive HP and MP. It also has many barriers covering its body.
“Are they really okay? Many knights look like in great pain.”
There are at least 100 knights in the location and continuously attacking the monster with their magic and swords. They look so desperate in this situation and keep on moving forward.
“Squad captain we need to retreat this Ice monster is out of our league, we can’t do anything to defeat it.”
Said the knight to the man who looks like the captain of this knight squad. We are wearing and different armor has a raging expression on his face. He looks like a man in his twenties and has a young-looking face.
“Captain Retto! Me! Sophia would like to retreat my people. If this chaos continues one of my people might die.”
The Captain of the knight named Retto. Walked toward the girl named Sophia and using his hand he choked Sophia.
“Arggg…”
“Captain Retto! That’s going too far!”
Said the knight and tried to stop their captain.
“What is it Dust? Are you going in my way?”
The face of the knight started to covered my intense fear. He then falls to the ground and started shaking.
Retto then let go of Sophia.
He then draws his sword.
“All of you are weak. This is just a test, a test for all of you. Still, all of you can’t even defeat this monster. Weak people have no right to walk beside me. If you want to retreat then go and run away. Don’t ever come back to me.”
Retto said.
Knights then started running away in fear of the Ice salamander. Sophia tried to walk to Retto and pull his sleeves but Dust. Held her hand and said:
“Retto is beyond insanity right now. You’re going to die if you keep on chasing him.”
Said, Dust.
“But Retto is our captain.”
“He is insane, You can’t save him anymore.”
“I love Retto-san.”
“Why would you love such an arrogant bastard like him? I’m here I will love you forever. Please, Sophia, don’t throw your life to that s**t head.”
Retto then turns his glace to Sophia and Dust.
“Goodbye, Sophia.”
Said Retto.
The Ice dragon then charges massive magic in its mouth. It then blasted the knights including Retto.
I saw the drama and of the knights. I also saw how bastard is Retto. I definitely don’t like buys like him. He reminded me of my classmate. Whose always silent thinking he higher than everyone. Well, I’m also silent and cool.
“This might be late, but I forgot to status check Retto.”
He was directly caught in that blast. I guess he is already dead.
Sophia is such a cutie, why he didn’t notice her?
I’m so angry. Still, I feel bad at the end of their love story. They all seem to die in that massive blast.
“Also, I’m thinking that this monster is still out of my leave, and having a battle with it will take time and effort.”

“Looks like their Dungeon raid failed. Not my business. Now my map expanded and I get to know a much powerful foe in this dungeon. I’m going in the opposite direction and look if there is a monster that I can defeat in that area.”
I leave the location and go to the place where the monster near my level is living. I started to cut them with my wind magic one by one.

Meanwhile, The knights that suppose to be dead after receiving the attack of the Ice Salamander miraculously survive and got teleport to the near grassy plain near the capital kingdom.
“We are alive?”
The knights then jump in joy after that.
Dust hugged Sophia.
“I’m so happy that we are alive. Sophia thanks god that we are alive.”
Sophia's tears flow from her eyes and cry.
“Retto-san.”
“Forget about that bastard and live with us. Let’s go back to the kingdom and report the tragedy. As the vice-captain, I will take over Retto’s position and became the new captain of our squad.”
Said, Dust.
The knights we’re happy after hearing dust words and started to celebrate.
Sophia pushes back Dust and shouted.
“I hate you! I hate you! I hate you!”
Sophia was so angry she started to punch Dust with her light small fist.
“Sophia?”
“Retto save us all. That moment he turns his back he uses Area teleportation magic to transport all of us to this location. Retto might be suffering right now and might have trouble in defeating the Ice salamander alone. Still, all of you are celebrating and bad-mouthing him. Retto might have such a sharp mouth and high stack attitude. But still, Retto is the one that saves us all every time we are in pinch.”
Said Sophia to the knights.
Dust slap Sophia’s face and said:
“Retto is dead.”
“No, he isn’t.”
“He is dead. You leave me no choice, Sophia.”
Dust then punch Sophia to her guts and fell unconsciously to the thick moss.
The knights then go back to the capital to report the happening in the dungeon raid.
