The weekend ended quick, and before we knew it, we were back at school. I climbed out of Ace's car.
Blaze, Ace and I all drove together to school. I really enjoyed Blaze's company. He was funny and entertaining.
"Are you going to be okay?" I ask Ace, looking at him.
"Why wouldn't I be?"
"Your powers" I say, looking up at him.
"They take long to come in Skye, they won't just flood in overnight. It takes time"
"But what about the other night?" I ask, referring to the night where he almost ripped Blaze's throat out.
"That won't happen again"
He seemed quite adamant but I knew something was off about him. He was even more territorial than usual over me, and I don't want to accidently trigger him.
"Well okay Ace. I'm going to let you prepare for class. I'll see you soon, okay?
