“Dude, you must be crazy or we've really lost you. What do you mean you want a son? You're kidding, right?”
“Of course not kidding Hector, I'm serious. What's wrong with me wanting a son?”
“You know you're an Alpha right? Are you aware that you can't procreate?” The black-haired Alpha spoke so seriously that he almost gave poor Satoshi a twitch in his eye.
“You i***t Hector. I seriously don't know how Theo can be with you. Forget it, you two are the same” The jet was already annoyed with the nonsense words out of his best friend's mouth.
Did it sound so bad that he said he wants a son? Don't they see him capable of taking care of one?
“Ok, that hurt him... I'm just saying Satoshi, think it over. Yeah, why don't you get a partner? It wouldn't be bad for you, that way you can get rid of the bitterness you are.”
“That's the point buddy, I don't want a mate. I just want a little puppy to be complete” The older alpha spoke with so much longing and illusion that Hector couldn't see himself able to break the gleam in his friend's eyes.
“Well, what are you going to do then? Why do you want a baby but no partner? Who understands you?”
“You know, a few days ago I saw a couple with a baby in their arms and I thought, I'm already 25 years old, I have a profession, money, luxuries, everything a businessman like me would want. But... my house feels lonely every time I come home. And I would like to feel the joy of arriving home and being welcomed with open arms by a little boy.”
The Alpha wanted a puppy with all his heart and no one would take his mind off the idea. Even his wolf supported him and even though he almost always questioned his decisions, for the first time in years he supported him and totally agreed with him.
“Well, I'll help you” said the younger Alpha.
“Really? But don't tell anyone. Well, not yet, first I will investigate the best ways to have a kid and when I succeed I will tell the others. Don't even tell Theo, he never keeps things to himself. He always spreads everything to the four winds.”
The Alpha was traumatized by Theo regarding the information he always gave. Once at a dinner party among friends, where Sean, Nathan, Hector, Theo, and himself were present. The youngest Omega was telling them the whole story of how his best friend framed him. It was so traumatic that just remembering it gave him chills.
“No big deal, grumpy. But it's okay, I won't say anything. In fact, I know a clinic that would be good for what you want. A friend of my Theo works there.” Said Hector.
“Clinic? What are they supposed to do there? So that I can have my puppy” Satoshi asked very interestedly in the words of his black-haired friend.
“Surrogacy, womb rental”.
The older Alpha opened his eyes like saucers, hearing what came out of his friend's mouth. Are there really people who do that? He was really surprised.
“Belly rent, you said that?”
“That's right. Jenna, she once told us that many Betas rent their wombs. Let's say they sell it, so they can carry the children of couples they can't have. The sale or rent of wombs as you want to call it, is very requested, in couples that cannot have puppies. There are very few Omegas or male Omegas, but sometimes they appear on the list. Although she told us about that a long time ago, I think like two years ago? I don't remember. I'm not sure if she still does. But if you want a puppy so badly and for it to carry your blood, I think it's the best option you have. It's a good clinic.”
Hector said thas so calmly that it reassured his friend; without knowing it. Satoshi was interested in knowing that clinic and asking for information about surrogacy. Does it sound terrible? Of course, it does. It doesn't sound pretty and the people who do it must feel worse, right?
If they do it, it's clearly out of a need for money. Satoshi does not judge people's decisions. He may have all the money in the world, but his parents taught him from a young age the value of humility and not to look down on people who have less than him.
“When do you think he can go see that clinic you say?” Satoshi asked.
“Well... How about tomorrow? I'll go with you. I don't want you to faint if you find what you want.”
“Asshole” Said the Alpha rolling his eyes.
Sometimes his friend can be a real jerk. But what can he do to him, he's a very kind man. He would never tell him out loud but he still loves him very much.
“So what do you say, shall we go tomorrow?” Hector asked.
“Okay, I'll ask Rose to cancel all my appointments for tomorrow so I can go to the damn clinic.”
“OK!” His friend's shout was so loud that it made him wince a little.
“NOW! Don't scream, stupid.”
“I'm sorry, I got excited” Said the younger Alpha with his characteristic heart-shaped smile.

The next day, both Alphas went to the clinic that Hector mentioned the day before.
When they arrived, the Alpha noticed that it was a very big place, it was in the center of Seoul, strategically located for people to see it at a glance. They entered the place and saw a girl, at the reception.
“Welcome, how can I... Hector! What are you doing here? And Theo? I haven't seen you for so long” The effusiveness in which the girl greeted the younger Alpha surprised the jet, except his friend who also greeted her with the same joy.
“Hi Jenna! Same here, we haven't seen each other for months. You know work leaves no time, and well my Theo is fine. Working, he loves to photograph everything that comes his way” Said a smiling Hector.
“I'm very glad Hector, and yes, I know how Theo is. And who is he?”
“Oh! He's my best friend. Kang Satoshi, this is...”
“I’m Jenna, nice to meet you.” The black-haired girl said hello.
“Kang Satoshi, nice to meet you too.” A serious Satoshi greeted, socializing wasn't his thing. It was not his stuff dealing with others.
“Well, what brings you here?” Asked the girl, very nice as always.
“Well” Said the older Alpha: “I would like to ask for information about renting a womb. I mean, I want to rent one” Satoshi spoke so confidently, that Hector finally realized that his best friend was not playing around, he was really serious about it.
“Oh!” Jenna thought it was a huge coincidence, or simply the work of mother moon.
Not long ago the beautiful Omega who had arrived for the same reason that morning had left the place, and now an Alpha was arriving for the same thing. Coincidence? Maybe. Fate? Most likely.
“Sorry, it's just that, not long ago a person came in for the same thing, and it's not common for them to come in twice a day for the same information. Well, sit down. I'll tell you everything you want to know about surrogacy. And your partner?” Asked the Beta innocently when she saw no one else with both Alphas.
“I don't have a partner, it's just me. I want to have a baby but I don't want a partner. I think I don't have to explain about that, so please explain to me everything about the procedure to follow” Asked Satoshi seriously.
Those present were stunned by the words of the alpha, Satoshi had no tact to speak, he just said what he felt and that was it.
