“Alright, alright! I’m coming.” I smiled as Nora peeled her smooth skin from mine reluctantly, as she gathered herself off the sofa and headed towards our front door. We had been twenty minutes into watching Wolf on Wall Street when the loud knocking came from the other side of the panelled wood. I picked up the remote, clicking pause and sat upright. The hairs on my neck stood on end as electricity crackled through the air the moment I heard the front door creak open. Low mumbles of voices chatting grew louder, along with the procession of footsteps through our hallway. I stood, on edge about who was walking through our door. I didn’t recognise this feeling; it had me nervous.
