We were finally in the car heading back to the pack territory. We had decided to leave tonight rather than in the morning; I was wired with so many visions of my meeting with our goddess that I wouldn’t be able to rest for hours even if I wanted to, and Raven was eager to see Nora after such a long separation. Seemed to make a lot of sense to head back now.
I could feel the new energy pulsing through my bloodstream; my powers were no longer tethered to anything, they were free, untamed and powerful. My senses were overwhelmed with new feelings, and I wasn’t too sure about how I was going to find a way to cope or come down from this high.
