DANTE'S POV

I woke up a little obsessed with what had happened the night before, I couldn't stop thinking about Olivia and the way her lips felt on mine. A very big part of me wished that I could get to kiss those lips every chance I got, but she had acted like me kissing her had been the worst thing that I could have ever done to her so I also had to act as if I wasn't into the kiss as much as I was.

Olivia was a very beautiful and seductive girl and maybe I had been approaching this whole thing wrongly. The problem was that as much as I didn't appreciate being mated to a thief, I still needed a Luna and Will was right about that. I had to think of the needs of the pack, I mean Olivia sure wasn't going to be what most Lunas were like but surely she could be trained. I had come to the realization that the biggest problem I was facing wasn't the fact that she was a thief but rather that she was human and convincing her to stay with an animal like me was going to be a challenge.

I had been keeping her at a distance because I didn't want her to get too close or to get close enough to cause any damage to my heart. She was also making it very hard for me to want her, she sure was very beautiful and quite a sight to look at but she wasn't very good at taking care of her self and she also seemed to not be into all the things that all the other women that I had met were into. Things like make-up and fashion or even the simple act of taking care of her hair.

I had spent the whole night trying to figure out a way that I could get Olivia to loosen up a little more. I knew my need for her to loosen up was in contradiction with the way that I had been treating her but I had had an overnight change of mind and I needed Olivia to be by my side always and it was all because of the kiss we had shared. At this point having her across the room wasn't even good enough for me because it felt like she was a little too far and I needed her to be close for me to touch her whenever I wanted to. Despite the risk of having her break my heart, I still wanted her by my side.

"Will get into my office right now" I mind-linked Will and he was in my office sooner than I took my next breath which was very unusual for Will, he always took his time when I called him.

"I only came here this fast because I wanted to make sure I had heard you right and I wasn't day dreaming or hearing things. I mean what are you doing here at this time of the day?" he asked as he got into my office and closed the door

"what are you doing here, what happened to you spending all of your days in the office to avoid real-life issues?" he asked again and I rolled my eyes

"I need you to do something for me," I said

"And what is that? should I get excited that I am finally getting my best friend back and you are finally crawling out of that little shell you were stuck in for years?" he asked

"I need you to take Olivia shopping," I said and I could see the astonishment on his face

"Say what now?" he asked playfully

"Do you have to turn everything into some big drama? I mean is it really necessary?" I asked him and he couldn't help but laugh

"I am sorry if I am being a little too dramatic for you but let me get this right, you want me to take the thief shopping?" he asked me, and for some reason him calling Olivia a thief got to me

"I am the only one who has the right to call her that Ok," I said and he couldn't stop laughing

"It appears you have had a change of heart and although I am not too happy that I wasn't kept on the loop concerning that change, I will take it and run with it," he said playfully

"You are right Will, after last night I realized that I was being a little too hard on her and I decided to go a little easy on her but still don't trust her," I said

"I will take whatever you give me right now and you giving her a chance is good enough but just remember that you need her more than she needs you" WIll said

"When do you want me to take the luna shopping?" he asked obviously in an attempt to tease and make fun of the fact that i had finally decided to accept Olivia.

"Today please," I said

"Roger that," he said as he walked out of my office and I knew he was headed to Olivia's room. If anyone was more excited than I was that I had not only found my mate but also that I was now showing signs of accepting her it was Will.

He was so enthusiastic about getting me to accept and make things right with Olivia to the extent that sometimes I feared that if I didn't hurry up and fix things with her, he would take her from me. He seemed to think she was the coolest woman he had ever seen or met and that bothered me especially because he still didn't have a mate. but if there was one wolf that I trusted with my whole life it was Will and that was because I knew he would ride or die with me if he had to.

As for Olivia, I was about to shower her with love and I was going to make sure she accepted and claimed me. It was time for me to move on with my life and forget what the past had been like, Olivia was like a ray of sunshine on a cold winter night and a breath of fresh air to my once congested life.
