Chapter 12The next three days passed in a haze. Now that Christian didn’t have to count, and agonize over, each second, he found the time flew by. The day after their visit to the vineyard, they left Lecce and boarded a boat in Brindisi for Sicily. Every time Chris thought of the vineyard, his face warmed, his fingers tingled, and his stomach clenched. He was so confused in so many ways, and in other ways, everything seemed so clear. Christian kicked the sand through his toes as he wandered down the beach, staying just out of reach of the waves.
