Chapter 9

Mehak went to her room and did not come out of her room that evening.. Ishan and Viren were busy with work in their office which was made in their mansion. It was too late while they finished their work and Ishan asked Viren to stay back but he didnt wanted to stay after whatever happened earlier as he thought would not be right so he drove back to Avni's place. Ishan came out of the office room and walked towards his room and saw the gate of Mehak's room was locked. He didnot disturb her as he thought she must have slept so he went to his room changed his clothes and slept.

Viren reached Avni's place and directly went to the room and changed his clothes and lied on the bed.. Avni didnot sleep as she was waiting for him and he saw that she's awake but he did not talk to her and turned his back towards her. She turned towards him and wrapped him in her arms but Viren was not in mood to talk to her he held her wrist and removed her hands from his chest. She knew that he was angry on her so she was trying to make up for that.. "I am sorry" she said slowly but he did not reply..  She leaned forwards and rest her face on his shoulder and said " I was very angry and I didn't knew what i was speaking.. When it comes to you I am very possesive and you know that right." " Ya i know" he said slowly " and that's why I  didnt tell you anything.. But what you told her was wrong and I will not forgive you for that." he continued and again removed Avni's hand from his chest.. Avni got up and sat on bed " But what did I do? You think I cant see what she's trying to do with you.. You think I don't know these type of women" Avni said in a hard tone. Viren got up and sat at his place and turned towards Avni but didnot look at her and said " yes you don't know.. so many months it has been since I got married but she didn't even talk to me looking in my eyes, So many months Still she don't enter the room if I am inside.She stands feet apart if I talk to her or I am at the place where she's present. She is not trying to change my feelings for you.. She promised me that she will not come in between us and she doing what she said.. She doesn't speak to anyone about this.. All she does is quietly stay and let no one feel her existence in that home.." Avni lowered her eyes and did not say anything.. " You said she's behind my money but that girl doesn't even takes money from me that is required for household and asks to give it to Kamla and you say she's behind my money.. I don't remember that she's been saying anything to me or asking me to get her anything .. After all this time it was the first time she has wished me on birthday without any expectation .. It was just an harmless wish and all these months you didn't had any problem with her while you knew everything... You were the one who wanted to meet her so I called her to the party.. She was not willing to come there. Ishan forced her to come along with him so she came.. What happened then? What went wrong with you that suddenly all my love for you started looking fake all my feeling and hardwork started looking false to you.. Just because she's beautiful  doesnot mean that she is trying to woo me.. " Viren said in a sad tone and felt disheartened. "Avni, you didnot insult her today but you have insulted my love towards you today " he said and looked towards her. She was still looking down and didnot say anything. Viren turned his back towards her and slept.

It has been almost two days since Ishan saw Mehak. Everytime he goes to see her, she was sleeping. kamla told him that Mehak didnot come out of the room since two days and didnot eat anything.. He was worried about her. He went to Mehak's room and luckily he saw she was standing in balcony and looking at the garden. He went and hold her waist tightly.. So tightly that he thought she would run away. Ishan's touch starled Mehak and a sudden shiver run down her spine. She closed her eyes and didnot say anything ... He turned her towards him and pulled her close to his chest and hugged her tight and didnot leave her.. He pulled up her chin and asked her to open her eyes and look at him. She slowly opened her eyes and looked at him. Ishan was shocked looking at her.. Her eyes were swollen and red as if she just cried for two days.. She didnt had tears in her eyes but she had fear..  Fear of whom he don't know.. "Mehak" he shaked her slowly but she didnot say anything nor reacted.. "MIckki please dont be like this.. Please" he again shaked her and a tear rolled down her cheeks and he hugged her and didnt wanted to let her go.
