Alexia She sighs and squeezes my hand. “It will help you to open up, even just a little. You can’t heal if you don’t let go of the past.” She says gently. “I know, I am just not ready to see him look at me with pity or disgust.” I say and she frowns. “My sweet girl, why do you think he will be disgusted?” she asks. “He wouldn’t want me if he knew what I have been through, and what I have been forced to do.” I say. “Why don’t you let him decide that? Don’t close yourself off like that. Speak to him, I promise you it won’t be the way you imagine it to be.” She says and I nod. “I will speak to him; I just need a little more time.” I say and she smiles. “Good, now here are your meds.
