Chapter Twenty - The Fear.

1062 Words

This was pure horror. The little children who had come to visit their mothers were now crying their heads out. Around the wards were quiet. Leah knew something was wrong, and on hearing someone call “Mara” for the third time she was sure who it was. Mara had woken up a little like she had sensed the fear. “Don’t let me find you!” Korma voice rang in a distance. Leah helped Mara up as they made for the door. But won’t they just jam with Korma if they go out the door. Where was Tobi and the agents when she needed them? Leah turned back and helped Mara climbed up the window, she quickly took down the curtains and tied them together. She tied it to the window. “Don’t look down baby” she muttered to Mara and gave her the curtains to scale down with. “Mara!” Korma’s voice was ten doors away.
