Nagpunta ako sa ward ng mga kapwa ko bampira nakita ko ang mga sugatan na ginagamot ng mga mangkukulam at ibang ordinaryong doctor.
"Hi!" bati ko sa mga tao sa loob ng ward.
"Hi! Pilipino ka?" tanong ng isa sa mga nurse sa akin at tumango ako kaagad.
Tumulong na rin ako sa kanilang ginagawa dumagsa ang mga sugatan sa aksidente.
"Anong nangyari sa kanilang lahat?" pagtatanong ko na lang sa mga nurse baka may matuklasan ako.
Kahina-hinala ang mga sugatan na sinusugod ngayon. Bumaling ang tingin ng mga nurse sa akin at sumenyas na sandali lang daw.
Nang madala ang ibang sugatan sa ICU, Emergency room tumigil muna ang ibang nurse kasama na ako sa kanila.
"I heard a conversation where a couple went on a rampage on the road and killed people they met and people like us who are not like us," said one of the nurses who was with me in the locker room.
"Why did you go on a rampage?" I just suddenly asked the person who spoke.
He turned to me and answered what I said.
"It's not husband and wife fighting because they empathize with the people they meet," answered my companion.
"Are they like us? Or human?" I'm just asking, I'm also curious so I'm already chattering.
"Not sure yet," answered one of our companions.
They looked at me and I stared.
"You are new?" they asked me I just nodded.
"Where are you from?" asked my companion as he looked at me.
"I'm from the Philippines, miss Erika needed another agent so she sent me here." my answer.
"Are we short of agents?" one of the people next to me asked our companion.
"Not at all," they answered to themselves.
We turned around when someone shouted for help.
"Help!!" shouted people entering the emergency room.
They all stood up when they saw all the nurses in a hurry.
"Let's go!!" they shouted and we moved back inside.
We used the speed to help other people who were with us who were also wondering about our movement.
Those who were bitten by evil vampires and werewolves had disappeared when I immediately knew that those who were taken to the hospital were people.
"Doc!!" we call extraordinary doctors.
They immediately came to us and kept the families of the wounded away.
The other survivors are at the hospital facility to have their blood tested.
"Go to the laboratory, and let miss Zas know this as well." one of the doctors approached me.
"What am I going to do in the laboratory?" I ask first so I know what to say.
"Send doc Leo, and another doctor who is good here, we need an additional doctor." the doctor answered me.
"Alright, doc, I'll be right back." I answered.
I immediately turned around and went to the path Eireen and I had taken earlier.
"Agent Vladimir, it's me! I need to talk to Zas and miss Erika." I called the attention of the guard at the big door when the door opened.
"I already called them but you still need to let them know." the guard ordered and I nodded.
I moved quickly and my co-agents and other creatures here turned to us.
"Anong nangyayari sa itaas?" pag-bungad ng magkakaibigan sa akin.
Hindi ko sila kinausap at pinuntahan ko sa opisina si Zas at sinabi ang nangyayari sa itaas. Kumatok ako sa pintuan at bumukas bumungad sa akin si Zas na seryoso ang mukha.
"Bakit nasa ibaba ka?" pagtatanong niya at pinapasok niya ako sa loob ng opisina niya.
"Na-report na ni miss Erika sa nakaka-taas," sagot ni Zas sa akin tumango na lang ako.
"Salamat naman, Zas dahil maraming madadamay sa pag-aamok ng mag-asawa katulad ko sila." bulalas ko sa kanya umiling naman siya sa akin.
"Mga lobo sila," sagot ni Zas sa akin.
"Parang kagat ng bampira ang nakita ko," sabi ko sa kanya.
Napatingin siya sa akin at nakita ko ang pagkunot ng noo niya hindi lang ako nagpa-halata sa kanya.
"Sinabihan din ako ni doc na papuntahin si doc Leo at isa sa magaling na doctor kailangan nila ang karagdagan na doctor." kaagad kong sagot kay Zas nang mabaling ang tingin ko.
"Sasabihin ko kay miss Erika ang nabanggit mo ngayon, AA sasamahan kita sa laboratory." nasabi ni Zas sa akin at tumayo na kami sa sofa.
Nang binuksan niya ang pintuan bumungad sa amin ang ibang agents na pagod na pagod ang itsura.
"They are attacking!" declared one of the agents in front of us.
"What?!" Zas shouted at the agents.
"Those who were bitten by the evil vampires became like us other wards when people were evacuated to other places." one of the agents mentioned.
"Tell the other agents and help evacuate the unsuspecting people." Zas shouted and he pulled me and we met David with his friends.
"Zas!! They are attacking!" they said and Zas answered.
"Help the other agents and on the other agents on the way." ordered Zas.
"How about you, Zas? Where are you going?" one of David's friends asked us.
Zas just didn't answer and pulled me away. Nang makarating kami sa laboratory tumingin sa amin ang mga scientist na nandun.
"We need the help of doc Leo above the hospital, and doc..smart." Zas said to the scientists.
"What's going on?" asked the person I was going to face, I suddenly looked away.
Zas turned her gaze to me and the two doctors in front of us.
"There's a commotion upstairs, vampires are attacking." Zas said.
"What? Is the war starting?" asking one of the doctor I raised my head.
"No, the man was bitten and this is what started the commotion upstairs." Zas said.
"We just need help because all the doctors have left to keep those who are still safe and unaffected." my answer.
"Who are you, and you are new agent?" asked the person next to my father.
My father was looking at me and I wasn't looking. Bumalik ako kay Zas na nakakaintindi naman nang ibig kong sabihin.
"She was replaced by our reprimanded agent along with her friend." Zas answered.
"New? Is it her first day up there?" it asked Zas.
"Yes, she was ordered to visit us here and I accompanied her because she hasn't toured the entire building yet." Zas said.
"Okay, let's go, you are in charge of what we are doing." my father said to another scientist.
"It's up to us, we can hear the shouting." answered one of the scientists.
We left and hurriedly walked I was surprised they didn't ask what my name was. Sa ibang daan kami nagpunta nagtaka pa ako pero nakamasid lang ako.
May bumukas na daan at pintuan sa harap namin kung saan kami huminto nakita namin ang nag-tatakbuhan na tao. Mabilis akong kumilos at nailigtas ko ang mag-ina na susugurin ng nakagat nang bampira.
"Zas, tutulong ako sa kanila, okay lang ba?" tanong ko kaagad at kinuha ito ni David na bumungad sa amin.
"Sige," sagot ni Zas at tinuro ko na lang ang ward kung nasaan ang mga doctor hindi napapasok ng ibang tao, bampira at lobo ang harang.
"Ano? Laban?" tawag pansin ni David sa akin.
"Oo ba," sagot ko na lang at nakipaglaban na ako kasama siya wala akong choice siya lang ang kasama ko dito.
