Colette Pov     I watched him walk away from me with my mouth hanging open. I could hear the kids crowding around, their not-so-subtle murmurs knocking me out of my shock. The bell rang for second period and I hurried to it, making it just in time. Jade sat in the back row with her stupid preppy friends and she gave me a strange look when I walked in, moments before the bell rang. Normally I was always on time, and normally I never skipped.      I wasn’t surprised when Jade suddenly mind linked me the moment I sat down.
