“SO that’s why you refused to investigate her disappearance!?” I tossed the file on my father-in-law’s side of the breakfast table with a growl.
Kira threaded her fingers together and glanced between my fuming self and her very calm father with worry in her eyes, her mother does the same, but judging by the knowing calm there, it was obvious that she knew what was going on… and what I’d just discovered.
