“Did you expect her to be grateful?” Carlos asked, he tipped his head to the side and studied my frazzled self with a puzzled look.
“Last time I checked, Carlos, I didn’t ask for your commentary,” I glanced at the stack of papers in my hand in an attempt to actually focus on work for once, but unfortunately Carlos didn’t know when to keep his mouth shut and even if he did… he certainly wouldn’t bother to shut up.
“But, I’m giving it to you free of charge,” he grinned at me, clearly pleased that I’m severely annoyed. “Most people would kill to have me give them such an advice.”
