Chapter 5The powerful paintings of the places they’d shared together that first day of touring Yellowstone National Park almost blew Blaze away. So many emotions gathered in his chest and gut that if anyone had come in to speak to him just then, he couldn’t have replied. He’d thought Logan was good, but having seen what began as rough, quick sketches, then viewing the finished paintings and charcoals in frames, convinced him of Logan’s importance in his field. Pleasure rolled through him as he studied each one because they brought back wonderful memories of following Logan around, toting his chair and easel for him, observing how engrossed he was in his ideas and the vision for what he was capturing. It seemed he had to draw fast or he would lose everything, both ideas and sight. Indeed,
