Chapter 2 The family affairs

Last night I went home without my wife or daughter it made me mad as fuck.I could not get an eye shut last night. I tried phoning Bridget again and again but I could not get a hold of her. I took a shower then got dressed when my butler came in with the news that Alexa has arrived. I stormed downstairs with the single thought that Emily will just leave her at the front door, but to my ignorance ass, she was busy playing with Alexa by the fountain. I walked up to her and hearing how Alexa spoke to Emily made my heart stop right there. She spoke to her as if she was her mother, she has never even spoken to me that way.
Emily turned around facing me with a smile which has dropped the minute I wanted to open my mouth. She was different from the girl I used to know back then. She seems so protective over Alexa. I greeted them then she handed me, Alexa.
"Here you go, Princess to your daddy safe and sound."
She looked at me with a smile and said:
"I made a fresh bottle of chocolate milk and I packed some fresh fruits for her. Please call if you have found Bridget" she threw a fake smile then walked away. I took my daughter to the living room that's when I got a call from a detective regarding my wife's case.
"I hope you got something for me and not nothing!"
"Yes, sir we found her in London well..."
"Well, what dumb f**k?"
"She is with another man sir she will be getting married to him in a few weeks. The chances of her returning are not good sir!"
"I see, keep a close eye on her and her w***e do you understand me!"
I said ending the call. This was the worst nightmare ever. I looked at my daughter who started to cry out of the blue. The nanny rushed in trying to calm her, but nothing had worked. I looked at the nanny who was picking her up then nodded in approval to come forward.
"Sir Alexa is crying cause she misses..."
"Not her f*****g mother that I can assure you!"
"No sir she misses ms. Emily Duke sir they use to play like this on the sofa for hours until she fell asleep."
"When was Emily in my house?" I asked with a raging voice this made me mad as fuck.This could mean that all of the time that Bridget was supposed to watch Alexa her sister did it.
"Almost every day sir!"
"Take Alexa and give her a bath I have some business to attend to now!"
She did not waste time when she was already out to do what I have asked of her. I headed straight to my office phoning Bridget's father regarding my decision.
"Mr.Duke please meet me at my office in town with your daughter in 20 min, if you are not there it will be very f****d for you and your family!"
Emily
I could not think clearly after my father had phoned me with the news of Raphael. I hate that man so much that I even feel sorry for him. How was that even possible? I pulled into the parking lot of his company, the man knew how to make a first impression. The building was very modern with big white windows. As I walked in I found my father in the waiting area his eyes were empty. Before I could open my mouth a lady came in asking us to follow her. She had blond hair with red lips and her body was built for a swimsuit model. I found myself in Raphael's office in a wink of an eye. He stood by the window holding a glass of whiskey. He made Zeus look like an animal next to him, dam he was so hot I can't remember when last I had seen him.
"Please take a seat we have some business to discuss!"
Even his voice sends chills down my spine all of a sudden I heard a voice saying that I must sit down that when I knew he was looking straight at me. I took a seat then looked at him with glaring eyes.
"Bridget has left me and my daughter just like a common person would do, but I have some things on my list that revolves around my daughter Alexa. I need a mother for Alexa someone she can look up to I was thinking of you Emily if not.."
"If not then what Raphael?"
"Then I will have to find someone worthy of the position!"
"Then take me I'll be more than happy to be her mother.."
My father's arm grabbed mine then he asked me if I was sure about this decision. Heck no I'm freaking out about this but I can't let anyone else be her mother she is my baby I had her from the start. I nodded my head at him then he smiled and said that I will make my mother so proud right now.
"So you agree to this?"
"Yes, I do I love her with all of my heart and a bit more!"
"The wedding will be in two weeks from now, so get packing darling cause it's going to be a long day for you!"
"Wait what! I will not marry you!"
"To be Alexa's mother you have to become my wife if not you both can say goodbye to her!"
"You're selling her off like a transaction that needs to be done. If one party doesn't agree then there will be trouble!"
"Glad to know that you understand the situation that I'm in, it's a fair chance Emily are you going to take it or not?"
Both the men looked at me with angry eyes. I felt that I had no choice maybe I should run away or maybe I should just take the deal. I took a look at the door and started to calculate how far it will be and how long it will be for them to find me. Then I heard a growl coming from Raphael.
'Answer me now!"
