A wolf that Mia didn’t recognize was being brought in on a stretcher. He was badly beaten and bloodied. His face was covered in blood. His shoulder length golden blonde hair was caked in blood. He looked a bit older than her. She was trying to place him - she sensed something familiar about him. She quickly moved back as the nurses and doctors cam running to help. Queen Amanda was behind the warriors carrying him in. She knew she was needed.
“Mom - are you strong enough?” Mia grabbed her mothers arm as medics rushed by.
“I’m needed, Mia” her mother said with a gentle smile and she hurried past her daughter. They entered the trauma room and closed the double doors closed behind them.
