Mia gaped at Lukas, still not sure what he meant.
“Is your wolf dead?” She asked incredulously.
Lukas paused before shaking his head. “No. I’m sure he’s not” he responded.
“He would’ve felt a piece of him die if his wolf had died” dr Bell came out of the medical centre and joined the conversation. “When one’s wolf dies, it’s like the loss of a mate. It’s literally ones other half” he explained. He turned to Lukas. “You had a lot and I mean A LOT of wolfsbane in your system when I treated you. I wouldn’t be surprised if your wolf was just still sedated by whatever concoction you were sedated with and is just still sleeping it off”. He smiled gently at Lukas “give it some time” he added. “He will come back”.
