“You love me?” She gasped out.
She was taken aback. She knew but hearing the words was more than her heart could bare.
“I am so, head over heels in love with you Princess” he told her, his eyes looking into hers. “You have changed the course of my life. You make me a better man; you make me want to be a better man”. He paused. “I am terrified that you’ll reject me. I know I am not worthy of you. But I will spend my life proving to you how incredible I think you are” he dropped to one knee. “I love you” he told her smiling. “I love you so much”
She took everything in. His scent. His eyes. The way he looked at her. How she felt.
