Douglas was smiling with Abby and then he looked up at her and his smiled widened but it quickly went away when Scarlet did not return the same smile.
Douglas had no idea why Scarlet was acting that way with him and he seriously hoped that it had nothing to do with yesterday’s kiss. After thinking about the kiss the entire night, he realized that he did not regret it one bit.
He was slowly beginning to wonder if Scarlet on the other hand was having regrets about their passionate kiss. Abby felt the tension between both Scarlet and Douglas, she excused herself and went ahead to serve the customer at the end of the restaurant.
