It's been a week since the incident happen and I'm glad that they finally found the culprit. Lulan ito ngayon ng yate na pag-aari ni Peter na kasalukuyang nasa laot, tinakot nila itong ilalagay sa sako at ihuhulog kaya naman they were able to find out the mastermind.

Lianne, I never knew ahe could be that low. First, they withdrew their partnership with us para sa medical mission and now she's giving threat to my girlfriend. She is insane.

Peter made a deal with Lianne's dog, he would be their spy and provide as evidences ng katiwalian ng pamilya nila kapalit ng proteksyon nito at ng pamilya. I let Peter do what he wants because I know full well how capable he is.

"thank you bro, please have some of your men to watch out for Keighlanie"

"no problem. I'll send two of my best men, Dave and Alessa to look out for her and don't worry everything will be over as soon as we were able to gather enough evidence" panigurado nito sa akin saka nagpaalam dahil plano nilang dahan-dahang ilipat ang pamilya ng tauhan ni Lianne

Pababa na ako papuntang kusina and I could smell the delicious aroma of the food, maagang nagising si Keighlanie kanina dahil gusto niyang magluto ng agahan namin.

I smiled seeing her place the food on the table, she looks so happy doing it. Hindi na rin ako nagtataka na she's able to get along with our people and I couldn't help but smile.

"hi love, have a seat" anyaya nito ng mapansin na pababa na ako "let me prepare your coffee first" paalam nito saka bumalik sa kusina

Pagkaupo ko ay sakto namang tumawag ang assistant ko

"magandang umaga mayor, your session will start at nine in the morning sa hapon naman ay ng groundbreaking ceremony sa itatayong negosyo center at bukas na rin po ang dinner for a cause na inorganisa ni Governor Sotto" wika nito. I an very thankful for having him as my assistant he is not just effective but very efficient in his work. I gave him instructions then turned the phone off sakto naman ang pagbalik ni Keighlanie dala ang kape ko.

"Love, do you want to visit Ari? I have heard that she's free today" tanong ko sa kanya pagkatapos naming kumain dahil kahit hindi siya sabihin I know she's bored staying in the house for a week

"really? Let me prepare myself first" masayang wika nito

"alright. I'll drop you off since doon din naman ang daan ko papuntang munisipyo" she hurriedly went to the closet and I chuckled upon hearing her sing while preparing.

She's wearing a tattered jeans topped with sleeveles chiffon blouse and white shoes. I must admit, kahit napaka nipis pa rin ng make up nito ay napakaganda pa rin niyang tingnan.

"let's go" she said grabbing her sling bag

I hugged then kiss her forehead saka iginiya siya pababa.

"by the way love, may dinner for a cause bukas and I would like for you to come and be my date"

"of course pero wala akong dress or gown para sa ganyang occasion" malungkot na turan nito

"don't worry. As soon as i'm done with the things that I need to do, I'll have Dave and Alessa come to pick you up so we can shop for our outfit"

"okay lang ba na pumunta ako?" she hesitated

"of course, you are my date and I want everybody to know that you're my girlfriend" I said then took her hand and kiss it

Ilang sandali pa ay nasa harapan na siya ng hospital, I told her to go in first then called Dave.

"Keep an eye on her, I don't want something bad to happen" I ordered

"roger, Mayor" he affirmed.

I drove straight to the municipal hall where my assistant Helbert is waiting for me. He is giving me updates while walking towards my office to prepare for the session.

"Don't you think this project will hurt the Sotto's? Alam naman nating lahat na he wanted to acquire that land" Councillor Linares might sound concerned pero everybody knows na tuta siya ni Governor

"alin ba ang dapat nating pahalagahan? Ang kapakanan ng isa o ang kapakanan ng nakararami? Let me remind you na as a public servant, hindi tayo hinalal to please the big men or the rich. We are elected to serve our town and its people" I said which made everbody agree

"you are right, Mayor. As the first Councillor of the town, I would want to pursue this plan at kung papayag kayo I would like to volunteer to head this project" pagvolunteer ni Councillor Flecerda.

I am satisfied na umayon ang lahat sa plano, the session lasted for four hours and lunchtime na ng kami ay matapos but everbody is happy dahil nanglibre ng tanghalian si Councillor Guipalan. I opened my social media account and smiled seeing Ari and my gf having a good time.

"lovely" I commented then went straight to my office to prepare for the inauguration. Habang nasa daan kami ay napansin ko ang nakahilerang tindahan ng mga pagkain malapit sa plaza which made it hard for vehicles to pass.

"Bert, since malapit naman ito sa plaza please form a team and make a project plan for those vendors, we will utilize a part of the plaza, let's name it food plaza para naman maayos at safe silang makapagtinda. It will lessen the traffic and at the same time we will be able to help them. Please communicate with the Barangay Captain, I want this to be realize the soonest possible" utos ko

"Yes mayor" he said then contacted people from the office to start the plan. I have seen posts from the social media about night market and the like, so I wanted to do that too. Ilang minuto pa nakarating na kami sa site at sakto naman ang dating namin dahil mag-uumpisa na ang seremonya. after I gave my speech, I then took part in the ribbon cutting.

"Mayor, totoo po bang single no more ang alkalde ng San Vicente?" tanong ng isang reporter which made me chuckle dahil mas interesado pa ata sila sa lovelife ko kesa proyektong ito

"yes and she's with my cousin right now waiting for me"I answered smiling

"kailan po ba ang kasal?"tanong ng isang binatang reporter

"the soonest the better I have been waiting for her for so long and I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with her" I said which made some of them exclaimed. I answered few more questions before I excused myself

We were on our way when my mom, Caressa, called me

"Hi ma"tipid kong bati

"you already have a girlfriend and yet you did not bother telling me son?" nagtatampong wika nito. she's at again

"you will meet her tomorrow at the gala ma"sabi ko

"ÿou better be and son I have heard that your papa and that sotto family is trying to engaged you and that weirdo again"naiinis na wika ni mama

"I will soon be engaged ma not with Lianne but with Keighlanie and I know that you will love her. I'll see you soon ma"paalam ko ng mapansin ko na nakarating na kami sa mall kung nasaan sina Ari

Hinubad ko lang coat at necktie ko. I loosen some of my longsleeve's button and folded it up to my elbow. I bought a bouquet of flowers then went directly to Amber's Coffee House, I was caught off guard when I saw Lianne with her friends ordering something. ngumiti agad ito ng makita ako at akmang lalapit sana pero nagkunwari akong di siya nakita at agad na inilibot ang aking mga mata sa cafe , I smiled upon seeing where Ari and Keigh are. I waved my hands at them and from my peripheral vision I could see how devasted Lianne is. Matagal ko ng alam na may gusto siya sa akin but the moment Keighlanie arrived at my lola's mansion before she caught not just my eyes but my heart already. although I have been into relationships before, hinahanap ko pa rin ang babaeng lasing na bigla na lang humalik sa akin.

"Hi Ari, hi love" bati ko sa kanila then gave her the flowers

"Thank you" aniya sabay amoy sa mga bulaklak and I cant help it but smile seeing her blush

"Did you eat already?Do you want something?' tanong nito sa akin

"I'm good. tapos na ba kayo? let's go and shop for your clothes tomorrow" anyaya ko sa kanilang dalawa

"Yeah. let's go" sabi ni Ari na puno ng excitement

Kinuha ko naman ang sling bag ni Keighlanie at nilagay ang cellphone ko bago ko iyon ilagay sa aking mga balikat. I could see some of the girls giggle sa ginawa ko. I took her hand and held it as we went outside. Nadaanan naman namin ang grupo nina Lianne. They exchange greetings with Ari habang ako, I only gave them a nod.

" I havent seen him that sweet in public" komento ni Alexa isa sa mga kaibigan ni Lianne

"He really is in love..." at nagpatuloy pa ang pag-uusap nila but I couldnt chear them since paalis na kami and I dont care with whatever they are saying

It took us quite a while pero wala talagang damit na nagustuhan ang dalawa kaya naman Ari called our cousin Laura to rescue them. It was around eight in the evening when we arrived at our home, I went directly to my office to finish something pero ng makarating ako sa kwarto ay napalunok na lang ako ng makita ang nobya ko wearing my white shirt with only her panty on habang nakadapa ito at binabasa ang fifty shades of gray na libro. dalidali akong nagpunta sa banyo upang hamigin ang aking sarili and after almost thirty minutes I joined her.

"Anong oras pala ang party bukas?" tanong nito while placing a bookmark

I have slept with women before pero sa kanya ko lang naramdaman ang kapayapaan and the warmth. I smiled and together both of us fell asleep.
