As well as following the proceedings of the meeting and ruminating on the revelation about the Scythians, Kes was studying the Parvus. They were only the third intelligent alien life form he’d met in real life, after the Fila and the self-described ‘organizers’ of the space station—and he had yet to discover the latter’s species.
The thrill of sitting in the same room and speaking with these creatures who had evolved to a state of high intellect on another planet was almost as great as it had been when he’d first come into contact with the Fila. Though they were wearing EVA suits, he knew what they looked like. The Fila had passed on a raft of information on other Assembly members, after translating it as well as they could into English. They had included images and vids too.
