Chapter 12 I was still standing there, staring dumbfoundedly at my cat when I felt someone watching me. I looked up to see Loke leaning on a fence a few houses down. Grinning, of course. "Something amuses you?" I asked, crossing my arms. "I like your cat," he said. "He keeps his own secrets, doesn't he?" I couldn't argue with that, but at the moment, it was a less than helpful trait. I left him to his bathing and went to stand closer to Loke. "Are you going to call on Roarr?" I asked. "Wasn't planning on it," he said. "He's pretty shaken up," I said. "You knew he was seeing Lisa?" "I knew they were into each other before they even did, and they've been a thing since we were all kids," he said. "His parents didn't approve, but as they got older, that became less of an obstacle in th
