There are whispers following me everywhere I go and I can’t help the self-consciousness that invades me. It almost feels as if my deepest and dirtiest secret has been exposed. I am pretty sure I don’t have such a secret - my dating Ryker aside. “Looking good, blondie,” Ava observes sarcastically, and I am waiting for what she has to say, like the masochist I truly am. “Exposing your thighs, seriously?
