As Calysta accompanied the man whose name she still was not aware of, out of the bar she felt that she would go up in flames if something was not done to reduce her temperature. She was feeling hot and flushed for the first time in her life and the man was extremely sensuous, handsome and experienced in pleasuring women did nothing to help the fact at all.
A Rolls Royce came and stood before them as they stepped out. Calysta looked at the man who smiled at her unapologetically and shrugged his shoulders.
“Is this yours?” asked Calysta as she viewed the beauty with keen eyes.
“I am guilty on that count,’ said the man as he took the keys from the man who had driven it to the front of the bar and then opened the door to the passenger seat for Calysta.
“And you are going to drive it yourself?” asked Calysta, in a surprised voice as she got in the car.
“I am a very possessive man and of the things I value most, this is one weakness of mine. Beautiful cars,’ said Lucifer as he slid behind the wheels and then the engine purred at his touch.
“True, she is a beautiful thing,” said Calysta lovingly as she touched the gears and then looked out of the window. The car in which she had arrived at the bar was a limo and the driver would follow her where she was going so that she did not have any problems coming back next morning.
“So we did not have a chance at conversation inside the bar and neither did I get a chance at complimenting you for how well you danced. I must say, I have not seen such sensual dance in quite some time,” said Lucifer as Calysta smiled at him. She could understand that he was complimenting her only to get into her good books.
“You don’t have to say things that you do not believe in, really. I am fine the way I am. Since I got out of the bar with you and then I am going with you in this car itself you should be pretty confident of the fact that I am going to spend the night with you for some considerable amount of time,” said Calysta. And the she continued,” For that particular reason you do not need to say good things to me about me.”
“Wow!! That was absolutely unexpected and unnecessary,” commented the devil as he stepped on the gas and the sped the car.
“Not really!! If you think carefully then it was not unnecessary at all. I just pointed out a mere fact that we are going to spend some time with each other which would be pretty brief. And since that brief amount of time is going to spent mostly in physical intimacy, I daresay that other minor details about me or about you are going to be necessary at all. And in all probability we are never going to see each other again after this night, so there is no reason to know minor details about me and my life and the same goes for you,’ said Calysta as she looked out and peered in the darkness.
“I have never seen anyone more pessimistic than you in my entire existence. And trust me, that is a pretty long time,” said Lucifer as he let out a short bark of laughter and then changed the lanes to drive on the gravel laden path before a mansion which was probably something directly out of a Gothic novel.
Calysta used to think that her house was one of the oldest but this seemed really creepy one. The structure was definitely majestic and it was all decked up but there was no light anywhere at all.
“Is this where you live?” asked Calysta as she looked at the mansion and stopped herself from gaping in horror. This was definitely something out of a horror novel.
“Well not exactly. This is the place where I stay when I am in town for some time,” said Lucifer as he parked the car with ease over the gravel laden street and then stepped out of the car and opened the door for her.
“You can ask your driver to park inside the mansion grounds, you know. It will be safer that way,” said Lucifer as he gestured towards the limo which was still waiting outside the gate. Calysta turned towards the gate and motioned for the driver to come inside. When she turned back she found that the entire courtyard was flooded with light and the mansion which she had considered was something out of a Gothic novel had now completely transformed into something from a Disney movie set. It was a royal castle which was fit for princes and kings. And she could not stop herself from gaping at it this time.
“This is your place for resting when you are in town? Seriously? This is your rest house?” asked Calysta as she followed Lucifer inside the doors of the castle.
“You can say so. One of the many properties that I own all over the world. Actually, you see I have this weird tendency of buying places and making them comfortable because I don’t feel at home at the hotels and their posh rooms,” said Lucifer as he motioned her towards the huge living room where there was a bar at one corner.
“This is really impressive,” said Calysta as she took in all the room and the paintings hanging on the walls of the room.
“You are an artist,” commented Lucifer, knowing fully well that she was a maestro in violin. Calysta looked at him for a brief moment and then smiled.
“Actually I am a musician. I play the violin,’ said Calysta as she moved closer towards the Van Gogh which was hanging on wall above the fire place on the mantel piece.
“That is something I don’t get to hear every day,” said Lucifer as he sauntered over towards the bar and poured himself a glass of wine. Calysta looked at him and he grinned and raised his hands saying,” Hey this time I was being honest.”
She nodded her head and then looked at the painting and watched as she felt the colours swimming before her eyes. It was named Houses in Auvers. It was one of the most favourite paintings that Calysta had ever seen. Her father had a lot of paintings in his collection but he had never been able to collect the few Van Goghs which were scattered all over the world. She had always loved watching her father’s art collection but her mother used to say that it was something which was steeped in blood. She had not understood why so but it did not matter now. Both were gone and she only had to deal with the skeletons which were buried in the basement of her house along with a live woman who was the mother of her ancestry.
“Wine?” asked Lucifer from behind her as her reverie was broken at his voice.
“Are you trying to get me drunk?” asked Calysta as she took the goblet of wine offered to her and again gazed at the painting.
“You love Van Gogh?” asked Lucifer as she sipped from her wine and then savoured the feel of the grapes on her taste buds.
“Yeah. He is not one of the Old masters definitely but the beauty and the music in his colours are unmistakable. It feels like I could drown in the swaths of his brushes and I would swim up in the clouds of his purple sky,” said Calysta as Lucifer looked at her with a strange intensity. This woman was a strange creature. She was a maestro in playing the violin and knew more about art than any other woman he had met until now and he could understand that from the intensity of her words. It was like he had been waiting for her since long and she had dropped in his lap like an injured bird.
“Would you like to have it?” asked Lucifer as he felt her longing gaze on the strange painting by a mad man whom he had met long back. He still remembered that the man tried to give away his paintings just to get a drink at the pub in the village but everyone treated him like trash. Such was the tragedy of his life, but now wasn’t the time to think about it anymore.
“You do understand that this is priceless, don’t you?” said Calysta as she turned towards him and smiled before taking another sip from the goblet of wine she was holding in her long dainty fingers.
“Sometimes price is in the hands and the eyes of the owner and I have a feeling that it is going to be priceless when it is added to your collection and for me it just a landscape in weird colours. So I would like you to have it,” said Lucifer as he took the empty goblet from her hand. The place where their fingers came in contact Calysta felt that his hands would burn her just by touching. She withdrew her hand in shock and looking at his eyes she could feel that he had felt the spark as well.
The goblets were placed on the mantel piece as both of them gazed into each other’s eyes. The air between them was electric and Calysta found it difficult to breathe anymore.
The next thing I knew, he had slammed his lips to mine and nearly knocked all wind from my lungs.
I hardly had a moment to react before he pressed his tongue to the seam of my lips and, at my grant of access, delved inside my mouth. It was a kiss with the strong scent of old wine being exchanged in the intermingling of our billowing breaths. My arms reached up and tangled around his thick, strong neck. In an instant I had pulled away and arched up into his broad chest, moaning in the contact of body heat against my own, before I drew back into his lips. I could nearly feel the slight burn of the wine as it rolled off my tongue and seeped down my throat with every push of his tongue against mine.
Calysta felt that in the bar when he had kissed the world had melted away from beside her and she was in the clouds and this time his lips were scorching her very soul. He was hot and demanding and he did not let go of her that easily as he had done in the public place. He caught hold of her waist and pulled her close to him almost slamming her into his broad chest and Calysta did not even think about protesting. This was what she exactly needed tonight.
He was going to make her forget everything and she was going to allow him to do that.
It was an indescribable feeling which burned inside her and she did not even bother to think about it any more. There was a man who was more sinful than sin itself and he wanted her, he wanted her as a woman without knowing anything about her and she did not need anything else. He was the only drug that she wanted to be intoxicated with as he touched the lower curve beneath her breasts and slightly moving his thumb underneath making her gasp out in pleasure.
