I and Austin continued to enjoy our time at the beach, the playful waves and warm sand beneath their feet creating a carefree atmosphere. But as the minutes passed, the cold began to creep in, causing me to shiver involuntarily.
"Are you feeling cold now, Liv?" Austin's concern was evident in his voice as he looked at me.
I nodded, rubbing my arms to generate some warmth. "Yeah, we played for a while, and I'm not used to swimming anymore. I can't even remember the last time I swam."
A mischievous grin played on Austin's lips. "Do you want me to hug you to keep you warm?"
My cheeks flushed at his suggestion, and I turned my face away, feigning irritation. "What?! Oh, Austin, stop teasing me!" I tried to act nonchalant, but the playful sparkle in his eyes only made my heart race
