ELY The night had turned into a blur as Brooks managed to get me back home. My senses were dulled by the alcohol, and my limbs felt heavy as I stumbled out of the car. Brooks had insisted on driving me, knowing that I was in no condition to do so myself. With his help, I managed to make it to my doorstep, swaying slightly as I fumbled for my keys.
