Chapter Nine Sunlight came streaming through the window, and a slight breeze made the soft curtains flutter. There was both warm and cool in the room. The sun suddenly disappearing behind a cloud made it slightly gray for a moment before it passed. Liza peered out from under downy covers, the bed a black wrought iron with wisps of gently moving sheer curtains at its four corners.
