It should be no surprise when I tell you that I ended up on my way home, walking, with tears rolling underneath my eyes. Not only did I not feel like calling Eric nor Mike, but I did not even want to head back to the mansion. Instead, I wish I could have crawled under a rock and stayed hidden for the rest of my time. As Mike's car drove out of the parking lot, still hearing his screams inside, I marched towards Cole's front door and found him sitting on his porch. As I approached him, he did not seem welcoming, rather holding back bad news I was about to hear. His face did not reveal any emotion, except the tight line of his lips. He looked up at me, and a small embarrassing wave from me, caused him to exhale a chuckle. However, instantly he shook his head, and his gaze returned to mine.
