We were all outside Eden's room door, waiting for the doctor to finish his examination on her. She wasn't waking up and each second that I waited outside her door was excruciatingly painful. I dragged in air and pressed the back of my head against the wall.
"She's going to be okay," Austin assured me. "You need to be strong, I promised you that I'll be with you throughout this entire thing and I meant it."
My head shot up as I heard the door opening.
"How is she doctor?" I asked.
His gaze went from Austin to me; there was this fear in his eyes that bothered me. He didn't want to tell us what was wrong.
I started to panic at that fact.
"There's something that you should know before you go in to see her." He finally answered, confirming my suspicions.
